Milford Auto Group is a dishonest and disceptive dealership. Put a deposit over the phone on a vehicle that was less than a year old w/ only 7k miles on it. Salesman assured me the vehicle was ab dealership. Put a deposit over the phone on a vehicle that was less than a year old w/ only 7k miles on it. Salesman assured me the vehicle was absolutely mint w/o a blemish ! After spending the time in having my insurance changed over and having a bank check drawn (which I had to a pay a fee for) drove over an hour to pick up the car. Sticking out like a sore thumb when seeing the car were several noticeable dings and a crease in the metal on the passenger door! This car had more damage than my 10 &12 year old cars! Needless to say I had to speak to a manager and have my deposit refunded. Additionally, the saleman was also very deceptive in representing their fees to me when I initially left my phone deposit. Multiple times he mentioned that their only fee was a $649 doc fee. Only after requesting a breakdown of the costs did I see them trying to sneak in a $299 VIN etching fee. When questioned about this he said it was mandatory on all vehicles sold. Only after my vehement refusal to pay this fee was it dropped. Should also mention on their website in the fine print, no mention as to the cost of a doc fee is reported only that a $115 adm. fee maybe added. Again quite deceptive! More
