Shane started at Sill-TerHar in 2005. Growing up in Broomfield Shane used to look longingly at the great working environment that was Sill-TerHar and vowed that one day he'd be top salesman there. While he's not always top salesman, he's definitely right up there every month. We bought a used EV from them that qualified for a $4,000 rebate. They did not do the paperwork correctly and we have not been able to get our rebate. We have spent HOURS dealing with this and are having to rebate. They did not do the paperwork correctly and we have not been able to get our rebate. They have finally (this is one year later) tried to correct their mistake but we have NO MONEY and now we are having to hire a tax specialist to deal with this. THEY HAVE NEVER APOLOGIZED. More

They have gone above and beyond to make leasing convenient and efficient. I’ve dealt with many dealerships over the years and I’ve only felt like I got a good deal when doing business with Sill-TerHar. I was especially impressed with how they handled things during the COVID-19 stay-at-home order. Tom Perales brought everything to my home, including three different cars to test drive for a full 24 hours each and all the paperwork. He even came back the next day to collect my old car and was very respectful and conscientious about social distancing. The sales team—and they really are a team—demonstrated collaboration and cooperation rather than competition with one another. I admire that. When Tom wasn’t available, Shane took my call and when Shane was off the clock, Troy returned my call. If they didn’t know the answer to a question, they promptly found out. I've also had stellar experiences with the Sill-TerHar service department. They perform high-quality maintenance and repairs with the best customer service. They provided me with a fully loaded loaner car for a few days last summer as we waited for a special part to come in, and kept me informed every step of the way. Yet another reason I will continue to be a Sill-TerHar repeat customer is their commitment to building authentic relationships with their colleagues as well as their customers. Each individual I have worked with—from the receptionist to the sales team, to the service manager and technicians, all the way up to the finance managers—has treated me like a VIP. I’m grateful that there is at least one auto dealership in the area that operates from a place of integrity and authenticity. The people at Sill-TerHar Mazda not only support each other and their customers, but they serve and inspire the community with their spirit of solidarity, which can only make us stronger. More

Decent Deal, half good half bad Summary: Tom Perales lashed out in anger at my friend and me during our price negotiation. At which point I was planning to walkaway. The manager (Shane Gilmore) then came and apologized for his behavior and made the experience more positive. Sadly, a day later I am putting the pieces together that I was slightly played. The little deceptions of Tom presenting himself as a manager but only being a sales man (according to their website) and his forceful angry negotiations along with Shane not presenting the sales price out of the gate but trying to get me to pay full price (after the ubiquitous long wait of getting a price quote) have made the previous happiness of the new car slightly tainted. Story: I bought a 2018 Mazda 6 from Sill-Telhar. I had looked at several, by several I mean 9 cars that day, at two different dealerships. I wish I would have written down every number I saw, but I was getting tired (the car sales trick they they all use) I left the other because they were employing too many little tricks for their sales and were being manipulative to me. But I stayed at Sill-Telhar because they were close to my house and seemed like good guys. Long story short, I was attracted to the Mazda I bought because of the advertised price reduction in the window hang tag. BUT when I went inside, I should have been smarter and written down the advertised sales price because they quoted me the full MRSP and then some. When I said they could do better Tom (who claimed earlier that he was a manager but 'just helping out today with sales’ but is just a sales man) lashed out in anger with these words. "I don't play games, I am straight forward, if you are talking hundreds, then I can work with you but if thousands we can't talk," So I said "Then, thank you for your time, ill find something else" Then the Manager Shane came in and said that he can do things Tom can't. Then he presented to me the sales number in the window minus a little bit and presented it as a major compromise. I am only realizing this because the sales hanger was accidentally left in the car. It makes me feel mildly used and played by these two men. I don't think the price was unfair. That is why I am giving 3 stars not 2. But the experience was out of integrity to me. The little deceptions of Tom not being a manager but only a sales man (according to their website) and his forceful angry negotiations along with Shane not presenting the sales price out of the gate but trying to get me to pay full price (after the ubiquitous long wait of getting a price quote) have made the previous happiness of the new car slightly tainted. I prize honesty and straightforwardness in a age where it seems hard to find. I hate to have to leave a review that is like this but I want you to be prepared as you go. More

Repairs were fine, but recommend elsewhere. I'm told I'm covered and put into a rental car then made to pay for most of it when I never asked for it. I'm told none of its covered three days after I already have the car and they have mine, showed them my coverage which applied to my car but not the rental. What's the point of getting thousands in coverages with low deductibles when you still end up paying more than half of what the repairs would've been anyway on a decision I based on trusting their information? I should have fixed it myself, and will next time. Service guys friendly, just got the short of the stick. And learned to never accept the rental. More
