No 'Buddy in this Business' and Worst Car Buying Experience. We were serious about buying a vehicle, and found one we liked. We were in the process of negotiating a price when they suddenly sold it out from und We were serious about buying a vehicle, and found one we liked. We were in the process of negotiating a price when they suddenly sold it out from under us to another customer who arrived after us. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would not trust Trini Gallegos, Sean Starkweather or Kirk Kapple in a purchase again. We spent hours waiting on a response to our counter-offer. All the while they were negotiating with a second buyer!!! The manager on duty, Lee Roybal, was somewhat sympathetic, and said the General Manager would be contacting us the following day. We never received a call back. SHAMELESS and UNTRUSTWORTHY. There was certainly no "Buddy in the Business" for us at Toyota of Santa Fe. Bottom line - we went back to Albuquerque and bought a vehicle that same day from American Toyota, where we had an excellent experience. More

The undercut your 'trade-in' they ALWAYS say they will get you the best deal but have NEVER given me anything other than FULL RETAIL. Excellent 4Runner purchase experience at Toyota of Santa Fe I just arrived in Santa Fe from Los Angeles and decided to get a new 4Runner after having a Land Rover for 10 years. I was so used to car salesmen tr I just arrived in Santa Fe from Los Angeles and decided to get a new 4Runner after having a Land Rover for 10 years. I was so used to car salesmen trying to push me around, so I was very surprised when that didn't happen at all during my recent experience with Brett Buell and Raul Gallegos at Toyota of Santa Fe. When I first arrived, Brett offered to show me the new 4Runners. We went on a test drive and he showed me all about the car, and we compared it to the competitor models. He didn't try to sell me on anything. I then got bids at three different dealerships, and Brett and his colleague Raul got me the best deal. Not only was it the best deal on my trade-in and on the new purchase, but they also were the most friendly and fun to work with. I didn't feel comfortable at the other dealerships. But these guys were easygoing and reminded me of my friends (which they are now!). The purchase experience was quick and easy. I got the check for my Land Rover a few days later and I absolutely love my 4Runner, especially knowing I got it at a good price. I feel like I've found my new home with Brett and Raul, who I call the "Dream Team," and I look forward to enjoying my 4Runner for years to come. More
