I recently had the pleasure of working with Tucson Subaru when I needed to replace a steering angle sensor on my new-to-me Subaru. Living in Yuma, I didn’t have a local Subaru dealership, so I had to go out when I needed to replace a steering angle sensor on my new-to-me Subaru. Living in Yuma, I didn’t have a local Subaru dealership, so I had to go out of town for the repair. I chose Tucson Subaru over Phoenix dealerships for a couple of reasons; they had the part in stock, which meant I didn’t have to order it and risk a restock fee if it turned out to not be the issue. From the get-go, the experience was excellent. Brandon (I believe that was his name) in the parts department was phenomenal. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful over the phone. He even held certain parts for me to ensure I had everything I needed when I arrived. When I got to the service department, I wasn’t surprised to hear that the tech recommended several service items. Not knowing the service history of the car, I expected there might be some deferred maintenance. I took care of a few things myself, but I was taken aback by the condition of some drive and suspension components, which likely had been ignored by the previous owner. While this was a bit unsettling, Gavin, the Service Advisor, made the whole experience much easier to navigate. He stayed calm, cool, and collected throughout the process, and he went above and beyond to make sure I had a loaner vehicle to drive for as long as it took to get my car fully serviced. When I got my Subaru back, I immediately noticed a significant improvement in how it drove, smooth shifting, better acceleration, and just an overall more solid feel. Plus, when I had the chance to look at the new parts and the work done, I could see the attention to detail from the service tech. When I got the chance to look underneath the car, I had a few concerns about some of the work done, and the dealership was quick to respond. The service team was very understanding and took immediate action to address the issue. They also offered additional assistance and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. This level of customer care really impressed me. Tucson Subaru’s commitment to making things right and their proactive follow-up truly earned my trust. I’m happy to give them a well-deserved 5-star rating for their professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely return for future service needs and highly recommend Tucson Subaru! More

From start to finish the people were very friendly and efficient. Jade has been an awesome service rep, and has patiently guided me through repairs without pressuring me, allowing me to make decisions in a timely (and affordable) manner. She's well informed, and provides fabulous service!! Fabian is great in handling loaner and rental vehicles, always pleasant, couteous, and accomodating. It's great doing bz with him!! Artie has been helpful behind the scenes with filing insurance paperwork, and arranging for the transport to Formula 1 body shop I like the waiting area, and kudos to the gals who keep the coffee and healthy snacks well-stocked!!. I love driving the new loaners, VERY tempting to consider new car purchase. More

Tucson Subaru was great, before we signed the contract. Less than 48 hours later had an issue with the car, we were stranded out of town, and when we reached out to Tucson Subaru, the service rep Nico, sai Less than 48 hours later had an issue with the car, we were stranded out of town, and when we reached out to Tucson Subaru, the service rep Nico, said & I quote “you can’t prove it was our issue, you figure it out” and then hung up. I spoke with Sylvia Kounts, who again was friendly as can be until we needed help, and when we were directed to Service manager Scott Greg, he instructed his service rep Nico, to tell us he was too busy to deal with our problem. I would not recommend this dealership. More

I visited Subaru because, for the second time, my 2019 Subaru Forester turned off completely while I was driving. Jade, a staff member, mentioned she has seen this issue multiple times when the battery ne Subaru Forester turned off completely while I was driving. Jade, a staff member, mentioned she has seen this issue multiple times when the battery needs to be replaced. How does a vehicle that was in motion literally turn off mid drive not get recalled? However, Scott, the service director, claimed it only happens about once a month and less than 1% of vehicles. This is still, far too often. What’s most concerning is that there was no acknowledgment of the serious safety risk—especially considering my children were in the car during the second incident. Scott advised me to contact Subaru of America for assistance, but my request was denied after he personally reached out to tell them not to support my case as they assisted in the past with the lemon I purchased. This experience has completely eroded my trust in Subaru. I will never purchase a Subaru again. If you research the issue, it is a well-documented issue with the 2019 Forester. Avoid Subaru—their service team lacks empathy and accountability. More
