I've purchased many cars over my life (the last five were Cadillacs) and by far Patrick Shadrick and Capital Toyota have absolutely been the best ever to deal with! My new car arrived a few days earlier th Cadillacs) and by far Patrick Shadrick and Capital Toyota have absolutely been the best ever to deal with! My new car arrived a few days earlier than expected (😊) and add-on accessories arrived and were scheduled to be installed in just a few short days. I have found Patrick and Capital Toyota to be very truthful and straight forward in my dealings with them. The BEST ever! More

I can only speak to my personal encounter with Mr. Carter. I have only met him this one time, so my opinion of him is based on that. He agreed to meet with me to discuss an issue that I was having w Carter. I have only met him this one time, so my opinion of him is based on that. He agreed to meet with me to discuss an issue that I was having with the purchase of a RAV4. As soon as he walked in the room it was obvious to me that he had no desire to be there. He was abrasive and overbearing. He talked at me and over me but not to me. He took phone calls during his speech to me and reminded me that he had a business to run. I was having difficulty understanding the purchase agreement, so he attempted to explain. I still didn’t understand which irritated him. I told him that it was a complicated document to which he replied, it’s a simple agreement that we do everyday. I just don’t know how to explain it so that you can understand. I told him that I really wish that I had been told that there was no return policy. He said that they didn’t need to tell me that because no one offered one. I had just been talking to Carmax who does offer this option. At the end of this brief and unproductive meeting, he told me that he would review the situation and reach out to me by days end with what, if anything they would do. That was over a week ago and I still haven’t received that call. I’m not sure if he thought what he was doing was “Customer Service “ but if it was he definitely forgot about the “ service” aspect and it appears to me that once a sales contract is signed, he also no longer considers you a customer. I’m not sure how or why the purchase of a car turned out to be so adversarial but it has been the single most diminishing and stressful business agreement that I have ever experienced. More
