I have bought a half dozen or so cars from Ed Martin Honda since 1997. I will no longer be a customer of theirs. In 2019 I went to the dealership with a Honda Accord that I had leased from them to try a Honda since 1997. I will no longer be a customer of theirs. In 2019 I went to the dealership with a Honda Accord that I had leased from them to try and trade in after she has passed. I was unable to get any assistance, they played their pricing game, did not offer anything for the trade. I ended up getting take care of Ray Skillman Northeast on that car. My daughters Civic lease was up the next year, and they contacted us about offering to take it in and work on a new car. It was the biggest hassle, again, played their pricing game, they did not want to deal etc. I gave them pricing from several other dealerships I had received just by going to their websites. I even got a better a online price from Ed Martin then I did while I was sitting in their dealership!! So they had to work out a deal. The delivery of the car was a mess, and Dave the GM had to step in, they offered my daughter window tint and $100 gift card, she got the tint, never got the gift card. I just recently attempted to go back there and try to get a 2021 Civic, went in test drove, told them it was the one I wanted, but was going to price shop it and asked for Ron Hammer to send me a worksheet with numbers. Never got it, first email was just a monthly price, no sales price, nothing. Asked again, even texted with Sam the Sales manager on what I wanted, and what pricing I was getting elsewhere. Never got what I asked for the 4 days. I got the car at Honda of Fishers, they priced matched the Honda Dealership in Lafayette with the color and everything I wanted. I was in and out of the Honda of Fishers dealership in an hour with everything I wanted. I leave a message for the Dave the GM to contact me from Ed Martin, nothing. Ron Hammer finally texted me last week asking if I was still looking and told him he screwed up. Sam the Sale Manager called me at the request of the GM, told him everything last week. Still no call from the GM. I have tried to be a loyal customer to Ed Martin. I have bought from their Acura Dealership, the GM dealership and several cars from the Honda dealership. I price shop, get price quotes and find out what car/truck I want. They have lost a long time customer due to their playing their stupid pricing games. Go online, get price quotes, and work with the dealerships that actually have sale people and managers that want to earn your business instead of taking it for granted More
