I purchased a 2020 Mustang convertible from these folks on or around August 25, 2023. My husband and I drove 3.5 hours from Tazewell County, Virginia, to get this car. Within the first seven days, I pu on or around August 25, 2023. My husband and I drove 3.5 hours from Tazewell County, Virginia, to get this car. Within the first seven days, I put the convertible top down and heard a loud clicking noise. I saw that a plastic piece was broken on the driver’s side top and immediately called my local Ford dealership to schedule an appointment to have it fixed. They were able to get me in to look at it within a couple of weeks . As soon as the mechanic touched the plastic piece, it fell apart. He ordered the part for repair. The engine had stalled a few times so I asked that they check that out as well. The machine showed there was a malfunction in 4 of the 8 cylinders (5,6,7,8). I am currently waiting on a date to have that looked at further. When the mechanic replaced the part, he noticed the passenger side was also broke (it had a large crack in it) and had to order that part. We are waiting for an available appointment time to have that fixed as well. The warranty DID NOT cover the convertible top repair and we were forced to pay more than $250 to have it fixed. In less than two weeks of owning the car, I received a call from a representative at Virginia DMV. This person informed me that the dealership had sent a check for my taxes, tags, and title however … the check they sent was nearly $400 short. I would need to pay that prior to getting my tags and such. I called the dealership and was sent to a lady named Donna. I will say that Donna was very kind and professional. She informed me she sent the amount the dealership had told her to and then directed me to someone named Ashley (I think that was her name). Ashley informed me she would look in to it and would give me a call back. She didn’t. I called again and spoke to Hunter, who said he would have someone from management call me. I waited several days and no one called. I called again and spoke to Ryan. Every time I called, I explained all of the above issues. Every time I called, I was told someone would call me back … and they didn’t. I spoke to Ashley again and as soon as I told her my name, she immediately sent me back to Donna who still couldn’t help. Ryan informed me he would have to speak to his General Manager and later text me to let me know the manager was out of the office and would return tomorrow (Saturday). On Tuesday, I still hadn’t heard back so I called again. Ryan informed me that they were NOT responsible for my taxes, tags, and title fees and unless they promise to fix something in the initial paperwork, they were not responsible for fixing it. So … Basically, I have a $46,000 car that has a serious engine problem and broken convertible top. I will be nearly $700 OUT OF POCKET - at least - and will be without my car for quite some time when they are able to get the engine fixed. I am still in disbelief that this dealership has done this to me. I am very frustrated, very disappointed, and quite disgusted with the service I have received. I expected much better from the folks. I really did. More

Ryan Goad, the Internet Sales Manager, was very professional in selling me my new Wrangler, no high pressure tactics used, and he even assisted me when he saw me come in to check a lug nut which wa professional in selling me my new Wrangler, no high pressure tactics used, and he even assisted me when he saw me come in to check a lug nut which was frozen on one wheel, the great service department finished the job within a couple of hours. But even the waiting was good, two stores and a cafe with good food and beverages at the dealership. Oh yes, I really did drive all the way from the Florida Keys.......1000 miles, to buy that new Jeep Wrangler at North Knoxville CDJR. I had never even considered purchasing a new vehicle on-line and the dealership and Mr. Goad, made the experience very easy. Tommy, Ramrod Key, Florida. PS: A special thanks to the official at the dealership who offered to buy me lunch and beverage at their cafe when he saw me waiting........but I had already dined there, and no one at any dealership has ever done that before. More
