We purchased a new Forester and Charlie was terrific in guiding us through the options. The car is terrific and better than advertised. Roy in Financing was also outstanding - he didn’t pressure us into ‘more’ he guided us to the level of warranty that fit our projected use. Great experience at this dealership!! More

Raymond was great. Kind, available for all of my questions and not pushy. He even got a toy for my dog. An employee in the service department did not have a mask on but was distanced from other p questions and not pushy. He even got a toy for my dog. An employee in the service department did not have a mask on but was distanced from other people and put it on as soon as I walked in. The finance manager was knowledgeable and mostly friendly. He did not hide his disappointment well when I declined the extended warranty. He was impatient when I was asking for clarification on what certain charges were. I’m sure they get a lot of people that give them a hard time however this is a very large purchase and I have to know exactly what I’m paying for. More

This is a formal complaint - I feel that your service team did not explore the best course of action in the benefit of your customer. We purchased a 2021 Outback in October. My father-in-law visited team did not explore the best course of action in the benefit of your customer. We purchased a 2021 Outback in October. My father-in-law visited your Bay Ridge location on 12/31 to diagnose the tire pressure on one of his tires. He had called the same day to make an appointment and whoever he spoke with was nice enough to squeeze him into what seemed to be a busy day. Turns out, there was a nail on the tread of one of the rear tires. Solution? Replace the tire completely instead of patching. It was my mistake for not being there but after my father’s visit, I’ve had several colleagues who have purchased from your dealership tell me that they’ve simply had their tires patched in this situation. But it's much easier to charge him $200+ for a tire and send him on his way right? And your guy who does financing? He had an attitude towards my wife’s parents because of how long it was taking to sign everything - she was translating everything for them in Cantonese. Extremely impatient - no, he did not say anything but his body language was so obvious, and sighing everytime we asked a question - he even fell asleep at his desk several times IN FRONT OF US while we were reviewing everything. These are the people that you employ to run your business and close deals? Being in CX and Retail Management for 10+ years, it’s truly sad to see. It just reinforces any notions about car salesmen and dealerships. Only positive thing I will say is that Gerald Wactor was amazing. He was extremely patient with us, attentive and genuine. More
