I came by Motors Northwest to test drive a Mustang Mach-e. After meeting a few of the sales staff, it was clear they knew little to nothing about the cars they were selling. Okay, I had done my own re Mach-e. After meeting a few of the sales staff, it was clear they knew little to nothing about the cars they were selling. Okay, I had done my own research. As we worked the initial deal, we were talking about the crime in the area, as the police were next door, lights flashing. I was especially concerned with some of the additional examples JD had shown me on his cellphone. JD then told me that, if I didn’t like it , to change the way I vote. What!? I guess he figured he had me all figured out, as I was trading in a Prius for an electric vehicle. When the subject of tabs came up, JD associated the cost with Jay Enslee’s jet. (Facepalm) - I came in the next morning, after reaching a deal the night before, despite be schooled on how to vote, to find my deal had been rejected by the credit union. JD had no details for me. I was simply handed over to their fixer, Keith. I wasn’t happy to find out that my sales person had simply entered my expenses incorrect, leading to a the deal being rejected…and no explanation was forthcoming as to why it couldn’t be corrected and the deal salvaged. After all, JD said we had a deal. I could take my new car home. Kieth worked to get a similar deal, but couldn’t match the previous interest rate. When I said, since we didn’t have a deal, I could take my old car and go. Kieth said he didn’t make those decisions. Now, I’ve struggled with whether or not to share this part, but I think it’s necessary, in order to demonstrate the lack of professionalism here. I began suffering a panic attack, due to my Generalized Anxiety Disorder, for which I have been under a doctor’s care for some 15 years, and carry medication for this condition. I went to take my medication, and told Kieth what I was doing and why, so he would understand. He replied, “God took away my anxiety”. What?! I then replied, “Ya, I went to bible college…and was going to go into the ministry, until they kicked me out for being gay!” …it was pretty much all business after that. ^^ If there is any time it should be all about me, it’s when I’m about to drop 40 grand at your establishment. I don’t want to hear about your politics or religion nor have it implied, or flat out told, I should change mine! Wow, I was pissed off. Inappropriate and unprofessional. More
