Would rate 0/5 if possible, in the past my wife had her eye on a specific truck and made an appointment for a test drive and to discuss the truck. this appointment was made a week in advance and time off eye on a specific truck and made an appointment for a test drive and to discuss the truck. this appointment was made a week in advance and time off work was specifically taken to view this truck and when we arrived we find out that not only was the truck already sold, it was sold the day after she made the appointment and no effort was made to tell my wife the vehicle was no longer available. Bob was the person we were directed to so he could speak with my wife to discuss what caught her eye about the truck, after explaining that she had very specific criteria for vehicles she was looking for. It felt like he just started showing her vehicles that did not meet her criteria hoping that she would just say yes and settle on a vehicle they had in inventory. I returned a few months later as I saw a vehicle in the lot that I wanted to test drive and get more information for myself. After greeting me and learning what brought me in today, Bob's first question was "Is this something you're looking to move on today?" When I said that it was not likely I'd be moving forward today just doing research, his urgency to help me went to 0. The keys weren't available for whatever reason so I was given a print out of the car I asked about and sent on my way. I really got the vibe that since there wasn't a guaranteed sale at the end of my visit, it wasn't an interaction worth his time. Because I have to give a star and can't rate 0/5 the pleasant front desk staff earned them that single star. More

I bought a minivan from Russ Darrow in September of 2024. At first, the sales and service seemed good. However, it took a few weeks to get the van properly cleaned. And the van had to be cleaned TWICE because they didn’t do a very good job the first time. It was November before I got the 8th seat that should’ve been in the van from the start. And the key sense feature still does not work correctly, and it’s the middle of February! I’ve talked numerous times with the sales rep, Bob Phillips, who always assured me it would be fixed. He’s taken the van into the shop to have it looked at a few times. Each time dropping off a loaner vehicle that I need to put gas in before I can go anywhere other than the nearest gas station. And he doesn’t bother to replace the gas he’s used driving my vehicle round-trip from Janesville to Madison. The techs at the dealership said there is a problem with the radio, which is the cause of the Key Sense issue, and the radio needs to be replaced. The sales rep told me that a new radio would be ordered to correct it, but it’s becoming apparent that it has not. This has been going on since the purchase at the beginning of September! And now, Bob is telling me that the keysense feature is working exactly as it should, although nothing has been done to address the issue. Then Drake Lallas responds to posts to discuss. When I provided my contact info, he responded, “Good morning, Shawn , I am not the General Manager of our CDJR store … I did forward your email to the management team as well as Mr. Phillips,” and nothing ever happens. We picked up our car on Friday night. The tire valve covers were missing (after being told they would be replaced), the inside of the car had spots which appeared to be cleaner that were The tire valve covers were missing (after being told they would be replaced), the inside of the car had spots which appeared to be cleaner that were not wiped down but dried in various areas of the interior, and the car had a half a tank of gas. Upon bringing this to the attention of our salesman, I was advised that he saw the same thing on the interior of the car (but made no offer to have it rectified), I was told they do not provide a full tank of gas because it is not a “certified vehicle” and I was told they would get the tire valve covers to me. Not even an apology. With a dealership the size of Russ Darrow, I would think we would receive a better level of customer service. More
