I feel I didn’t get a fair trade and was lied to, this is my 4th and last trade with Fred Anderson in Sanford. Sarah Bailey and Richard Covington assisted us in purchasing a 2023 Highlander limited. The on my 4th and last trade with Fred Anderson in Sanford. Sarah Bailey and Richard Covington assisted us in purchasing a 2023 Highlander limited. The one I ordered was delayed several times so they offered me one from another dealership…it was a demo with 1100 miles on it. Sales manager told me the only difference was the mileage and pano roof. At first she wasn’t deducting anything for that but to add that option would have been $2,000.00. She finally took off 800 for miss in roof and $500. For mileage. After picking it up I noticed several options it didn’t have. Costly options…such as 2 back up cameras, captains chairs in back, 3 dimensional mirror etc. I notified Sarah Bailey…her answer was the one I ordered may be in end of July and didn’t I look at it prior to paying for it. I sent her a message letting her know I wasn’t satisfied and was willing to wait for the car I ordered. The Limited we ordered had all those options. I have not received a response from her. Selling a person on one car…delivering something less than and telling you it’s the same is not acceptable! Those options cost money so why weren’t we offered something for them instead of taking the same amount of money! I regret paying cash, I regret taking them at their word and I regret purchasing this car! More

Dealership was very pretty and clean. Sales staff very friendly. However, this was not a good experience for me. I had already driven from Rocky Mount to Fred Anderson in Raleigh (after Sales staff very friendly. However, this was not a good experience for me. I had already driven from Rocky Mount to Fred Anderson in Raleigh (after talking with the salesman twice that same morning!) only to find that they had sold the vehicle I was interested in the previous day. They looked on the computer and told the vehicle I was interested in at Sandford was still available. I drove from Raleigh to Sanford only to find that vehicle had been sold as well. So all that time,driving and gas was for nothing. I was very disappointed, to say the least, especially when I had talked to the salesman that same morning only to find the vehicle had been sold. The nice salesman at the Sanford dealer did try to call me and tell me but I was in Raleigh. The salesman at the Raleigh dealer obviously was not very knowledgeable about what was happening around him. More

Richard was so great! He was very informative and helped me find exactly what I wanted. There was a great selection of cars to choose from at the dealership, and they cleaned up my car and filled it with ga me find exactly what I wanted. Seemed to be disorganized at several levels. For example, when we first went to look at the car, it wouldn't start and we had to come back the next day to perform a test drive. We were ignored for example, when we first went to look at the car, it wouldn't start and we had to come back the next day to perform a test drive. We were ignored for a long time after we had reached agreement on purchase price. Buying a car should not take 3 hours after you agree on price. We had to ask the finance person to put on his mask (covid facial covering) before we would go into his office to sign the paperwork. Not a good impression on us. More

The internet department (Kayla Baldwin) is the reason I visited Fred Anderson Toyota. She spoke with me over the phone and later emailed a video of the truck. The video sold me. Later she introduced me to a nice helpful salesman, Richard Covington. Kayla earned part of the commission. I hope she was rewarded. More
