Agreed to purchase a car and didn’t even haggle on the price. After agreeing, I received my paperwork and I was in the process of filling out deposit information with credit card data. In the process of filling it out, within 30 mins they claimed someone walked in and bought the car. An absolute joke of an experience and now they have all my personal and business information. Asked to speak to a manager and guy wouldn’t even call to discuss without me begging. Already had a trash experience with eCarOne and thought this was a legit and safer place, apparently not. More

Reggie was wonderful to work with! I live in Arkansas and had a particular used car in mind. I talked to dealerships in Little Rock, Florida, and North Carolina that had the car I wanted. All 3 either had very poor and slow communication, or added on lots of hidden fees. I found the car I wanted at this dealership. When I called, Reggie answered the phone. He was so easy to work with. He told me about the minimal additional fees upfront, sent a video of the car, and was quick to get back to me with any requested information. I flew in the next morning and got the car. I really appreciated Reggie’s quick communication. He didn’t try and sell me a bunch of extras I didn’t want, and I had a wonderful time buying from him. More

The salesman lied to me. I drove 6 hours round trip and took 2 days off work (my husband and myself) to go look at this car. He said he would keep me informed if there was another buyer, but he just took the day off of work and when I got to Ewing Subaru of Plano, they wouldn't even show me the car. If the salesman isn't a scummy liar, then he is severely incompetent. More

First off, I called them because they had a particular used car I needed. I told the sales guy I was coming from Denton to see it. As we were looking at the car, his sales manager calls him on his cell an used car I needed. I told the sales guy I was coming from Denton to see it. As we were looking at the car, his sales manager calls him on his cell and he tells me that the mgr plans to send the car to the auction if I don't buy it. This is a sales gimmick/pressure technique that was not necessary on me as I was there to buy the car. They looked at my trade and we settled on a fair price. Then, in the office, as I was signing the paperwork, they said they mis-appraised my trade and my price would go up $2500. I told them that is a deal killer and they immediately backed off on their price increase. Strike Two! As it turned out, I didn't need that car for long so I set out to sell it. It was paid for at the time of purchase. I had a problem selling the car because it had temp tags. After me spending a week to get someone on the phone to help me after they had 7 weeks to get the title work done, they tell me it had not even been started. Finally, their manager handled this and sent my tags. It was at that point that I sold the car to another dealer, knowing that the title is always a week to 10 days behind the plates. 3 weeks later, no title. The dealer I sold it to told me that they had called Ewing and that they had botched the registration and the car was not even really registered to me ever, as far as the State of Texas is concerned. What an absolute nightmare of a transaction. I know Subaru owners are loyal, but I'll bet there are much better options for you than Ewing Subaru. Stay away from this dealer if you like for transactions to go smoothly. More
