My experience with buying a new Toyota Highlander at Accerman was the best I ever encountered purchasing any vehilce before, and I have purchased many in the past 50 years. I went shopping for a Tacoma at several dealerships and stopped by Ackermann's only to actually see one of these elusive vehicles. Apparently, dealerships only stock vehicles that are loaded. I met with Rebeccah and explained that I was 'just looking.' She was extremely helpful . . . not at all pushy. It is a tough job balancing between being helpful to someone who is not planning to buy, but still trying to make a sale. Rebeccah pulled this off with real finesse, and I was very impressed. She quoted what I believe was probably her best offer, she researched possible Tacomas located in the St. Louis area, and she aptly answered all of my questions. And, she even smiled and was very courteous as I left without purchasing. Later in the day, I called her and ordered the car. Again, she was outstanding in the way she gave me timeframes of when the car would be delivered and when I could expect a call back from her. Upon picking up the Tacoma, Rebeccah was very courteous and complete in processing the paperwork and in giving my wife and me a tour of our new truck. In every way, Ms. Drannan was outstanding! I would also like to complement Dave Bajier, the Sales Manager who finalized the sale. My experience with Ackermann Toyota was outstanding in every way, unless one considers the excessive amount charged for new vehicles in today's economy. I suppose we can't blame this dealership for that. More

I bought my first car in 25 years yesterday from Ackerman Toyota and was very pleased with the experience. My old car (20 year old Ford Escort) had quite a few problems and they went out of their way to giv Toyota and was very pleased with the experience. I have bought many new cars over the years (4 in just the last 2 years), but have never had such a pleasant experience as I had with Ackerman. This is first time in all my experiences that the salesperson was completely honest and upfront about everything. (I do extensive research before buying a car, so I already know the numbers). This is also the first time I did not have to haggle about the price. The price Rebeccah quoted for the new car was excellent and the price given for my trade-in was very fair. I checked Ford, Chevrolet, Kia, Hyundai, other Toyota dealers, etc, and this was the most car for the money of any other brand or dealer. The business manager Dave was also very good to deal with. Rebeccah Boulware was very straightforward and friendly from our first contact. She showed us the invoice price and offered the car for that price with no hassling. The trade-in appraiser was willing to work with us on our trade-in. After receiving a fair trade-in allowance (twice the amount offered from another area Toyota dealer), a deal was quickly formalized. The actual drive-away process on the day of sale took less than 1 hour, which included financing, signing of all paperwork, and the detailed inspection/explanation of our new car and its options, along with its warranties. Overall, the entire experience was low-key, no-pressure, and satisfying. We felt we got an exceptional car for a fair price in a relaxed business transaction. More

After reading some of the reviews on here I am amazed, I have dealt with both the sales staff and the service department, and both I find not only honest but knowledgable. I purchased a 2011 Camry SE, an have dealt with both the sales staff and the service department, and both I find not only honest but knowledgable. I purchased a 2011 Camry SE, and what I appreciated about this dealership is that they went out of their way to find the exact Camry with options that suited me, especially appreciative because 4 other dealerships in the area would NOT help me. Instead of worrying about what is in the inventory and just trying to sell that, the sales team at Jerry Ackerman goes the extra mile to listen to what the customer actually wants and help them in any way that they can. I have been back to the dealership numerous times for both test drives and service on my 2011 Camry (I put quite a few miles on my car) and you would be amazed at the number of excited faces to walk through the floors, every customer seems to have found their own salesperson to click with and walk out with a new Toyota. Aside from the dealership I would say that Rebeccah is the best employee that Ackerman has to offer, not only did she help me find the exact car to fit my needs, but also took my 3 phone calls a week to go over the progress of my vehicle, where it was being built, what the status was, etc. She even called me the minute it came off the truck! They picked me up so that I wouldn't have to worry about getting two cars home. To leave on another positive note, this type of dealership isn't the type that after you purchase the vehicle they could care less about you, no no no... I still converse with my dealer at least once a week on current events, how the Camry is coming along, and if they have any special offers on other new models that I MIGHT be interested in. Overall if there was a rating system of 100, Ackerman would be 101/100 in my book. More
