Was in market for Subarus … yes plural . Was looking for Blue Outback XT touring with light interior . Since NO light interior with blue exterior… next logical step was consider Limited ( as Was looking for Blue Outback XT touring with light interior . Since NO light interior with blue exterior… next logical step was consider Limited ( assumed they had lighter interior with blue exterior). I had to wait 3 weeks to purchase Outback . So wanted to know difference between Touring XT and Limited XT ( to make sure Limited was NOT missing any safety features. Here is reply I got regarding that question “ If you are that far out, what is it that you are trying to accomplish today?” I was 3 weeks out !!!! What is problem asking that question ….. Needless to say a little advice from a sales rep ( 27 years) . NOT every customer is going to sign / buy immediately. Sales is a process where relationships is built and then sale occurs . You have to lay groundwork for future sale . Needless to say your flippant attitude with that reply to simple obvious question was unnecessary. Here is what I ended up doing ….. buying 2 new Subarus 3 days apart and will be buying another soon ( all new ) . Hopefully this will teach you NOT to ignore customers that are NOT buying the very first day. And more importantly send rude message to customers question. More
