Well My first thought was, Hmm Should I Be Here! !!!!! The Staff were Nice n with smiles.. My Saleman Was Mike "B" He was great to work with! So bought my 2022 car and Loving it... All personnel was friendly and polite. Mike was our guy who worked so hard to please us with all we asked in the car. I bought the car prior to it being delivered to the dealership. The whole process was terrible. It's one thing that the delivery itself was 3 months delayed but the run around that I got was unbelieva dealership. The whole process was terrible. It's one thing that the delivery itself was 3 months delayed but the run around that I got was unbelievable. The initial purchasing experience was pretty normal but after signing the papers, it was an awful experience. I understood going in that the car was to be delivered 2 weeks later. I had to call the dealership 4 times in the span of 3 months before receiving the car. The dealership/salesperson had not initiated a call until the very day it arrived. In almost every correspondence after signing of the papers, the salesperson did not contact me. I had to initiate. He stated a couple of times that he tried to reach me but never left me a voice message (I just got a missed call). When I called two weeks after purchase regarding the status of the car, he stated that it was on its way but not yet. "Probably in two weeks". When two weeks went by, I called again and he stated that it was still "on the road". Then time went by and I called again and still no status. That went on for 4 separate occasions and in each time, he kept stating that it was "not [dealership] fault." As a customer, it doesn't matter if the fault is on the manufacturer, supplier, transport or the dealership. They all represent the brand "Hyundai" and the fact that he kept blaming something else other than his dealership is not MY PROBLEM. If he initially just gave a plausible ETA without the "It's not our fault" stuff I would have understood. Also, I originally requested that the car be delivered to my home. When the car arrived at the dealership, I reminded the salesperson that I wanted it delivered. I asked if they were going to deliver it via a tow truck. He confirmed with his manager that they do not do that, they just drive it over. I told him that I didn't want them to add miles to the car so I had to go pick it up. Then he proceeded to tell me that I had to come in anyways because the finance papers had to be re-signed. The financing was a whole other issue. When I originally purchased the car, I went through the Hyundai financing option and went through it's process of credit checks, signing papers etc. But since the car was delivered 3 months later, I was informed the day I had to pick up the car that the paperwork needed to be redone. That was news to me. When I arrived at the dealership & went through the financing again, I specifically asked the finance person if another credit check had to be done and he stated "no". That was either a blatant LIE or incompetence. He stated that "you just had to re-sign the papers." I found out a couple of hours later that another credit check went through. Now I have 3 credit check on my credit report for this whole car buying experience. This was my first Hyundai and it it was THE WORST car buying experience I've ever gone through and I have purchased over 12 cars over the years! More
