I took my car in for service and decided to go to the sales department since my lease was expiring soon. Drew was amazing with helping me get into a new lease. Overall a pleasant experience with Downey Hyundai. Sales person was polite and friendly. Manager was inflexible in price compromise. Too much extra charges in "accessories" added to the advertised Sales person was polite and friendly. Manager was inflexible in price compromise. Well a survey on a dealership in America today for my experience is a challenging disappointing experience for the past 5 months maybe six I've been dangled a car finances that I could fit like a carrot experience is a challenging disappointing experience for the past 5 months maybe six I've been dangled a car finances that I could fit like a carrot to a xxxxxxx there's never going to get either but one fellow from the Downey Hyundai dealership with physician and calling and calling and promising and guaranteeing and he came through came through to the point without a car the man came and picked me up at my home on a Saturday when I got there two and a half hours later I'm riding in a brand new Elantra brand new 14 miles with a budget I didn't expect but I can make it with no problem and then the promises that they said later on down the road then you can even get better kudos to Downey Hyundai oh and I must say let me tell you the guys name Edward also known as Eddie Garcia the man was persistent and about the fifth call I kind of heard something Saturday in his voice and I said what the xxxx the man worked for like 4 or 5 days turned down other finance offers that he knew I couldn't accept and got me a deal closest the person could get with my background credit wise in a brand new car I wouldn't even expecting a brand new car so once again the guys was great I wasn't in there no time considering they can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned thanks guys I'll be back and I'll tell my friends More

Everyone was really kind and helpful, I wanted a specific car in mind and Drew helped me find the exact one I was looking for and gave me multiple updates along the way. We had an appointment so there was no wait time. The morning of my appointment I had 2 emails, 2 separate phone calls and voice mails, 2 more text messages so it just seemed like the personnel there The morning of my appointment I had 2 emails, 2 separate phone calls and voice mails, 2 more text messages so it just seemed like the personnel there was not talking to one another. I was concerned about my appointment but once I arrived it was fine. I was not happy with the sales department. The car was brand new and had not gone through inspection nor had the additional accessories installed. One was Lojack, another was Brake Assist which flashes your rear lights when you brake, and the last was 3M protectant on door handles. All three of these things we did not need nor want and certainly did not want them at an additional cost. We figured since these add ons were not on the car and they know the buyer does not want them then just don't add them. They strong armed us into getting the Lojack and the Brake Assist and paying for it. That was a very disappointing part of the sale. Since the internet price was about 1500.00 less than the sticker price they honored the internet price, so they would not budge on the add-ons. Next when we got to finance it was just an unpleasant experience. It was in a dark, dingy row of offices a parking lot over due to the dealership building being under construction. The process is all done on paper and just seemed outdated. Our finance officer seemed rushed, irritable, and condescending. If we asked questions he repeated himself in a condescending tone like our question had already been answered - maybe it had, but we needed clarity. For me, a new car is big purchase and I like to know what I am signing. When we were finishing up he made a call saying he was leaving early for the day, so it made sense what the rushed feeling was all about. The car was delivered to our home the following day. There was no problem with that at all. More
