This started out as a decent experience and is now an 80K Nightmare. On October 1st 2024 I bought a 2024 BMW X6 with 2700 miles on it and traded in a 2019 BMW X6. I was told they would only accept full pri Nightmare. On October 1st 2024 I bought a 2024 BMW X6 with 2700 miles on it and traded in a 2019 BMW X6. I was told they would only accept full price for the 2024 X6 even though I was verbally promised thru the initial negotiating a slightly lower price thru a sales rep. Ashley. I took detailed notes while negotiating and tried to prove it to Pierre but he refused to acknowledge the original negotiated price. They tried to force me to pay 299.00 for nitrogen in the tires and 449.00 for some so called theft etching. I declined and they removed the erroneous charges calling that the negotiating, removing charges that were never agreed upon. The document delivery fee is significantly inflated to 899.00 when most other dealers charge 250.00 to 300.00, for documents, there is a State mandated standard and 899.00 is significantly above that number. I drove 15 hours round trip to deliver the trade in and pick up the new vehicle. No offer for delivery or even meeting 1/2 way. I got home and 2 days later the engine shut down while I was driving and the dash on the 2024 X6 with 2700 miles lit up with a DO NOT DRIVE MESSAGE- Stating the vehicle may have a damaged drive train. I immediately took it to the BMW dealer in my home town. That was 2 weeks ago and now I have been told it will be in the service department for 6-8 weeks waiting on parts. As well, Freehold was to pay off the balance I owed on the 2019 X6- which I provided in cash. To date- 19 days later the balance has not been paid off. They took an extra 400.00 for title and plates- which I already paid for, when questioning Maria she told me that it would be refunded to me. Nothing has been refunded and I still don't have the registration or the valid plate stickers to November 2025, that I provided to them, she told me I needed to leave them with her. The payment on the undriveable 2024 X6 is due in 9 days on top of the old payment on the 2019 X6 due as well. I am beyond disappointed. The sales guy Pierre has reached out to me only because I have his personal cell number and have text him regarding the situation and how unhappy I am with the entire transaction. I have been lied to a deceived thru the entire process. He kept telling me the Manager Frank would call me to address this situation. Nothing from Frank...... I also left a message for Maria in Finance 3 days ago about the pay off on the 2019 X6, again nothing no call back, no registration, no plates, no refund for the overpayment for the plates and registration that I had already paid for. The customer service after you leave the dealership is non existent and the customer service you will receive in the dealership is predatory. Someone should be held accountable. More
