Tried out the Costco pricing program. Got an email quickly from a sales man claiming to be the Costco representative but he was not. This bothers me because he was Misrepresenting himself. I was fi quickly from a sales man claiming to be the Costco representative but he was not. This bothers me because he was Misrepresenting himself. I was finally contacted to the right person. Paul was very nice and courteous but seemed to be dealing with multiple issues at the same time. After test driving the car on Friday , I made an appointment for the next day to talk about the options and the pricing. I also found out that the pricing discount thru the Costco program was not contingent to using Honda financing as it was represented. They seems upset that I had called them on this but they did finally agree to honor the Costco price with or without financing with them. I also would like to note that the day was there to pick up the car ended up lasting over 6 hours. Everyone was multitasking but since I had already signed and agreed to purchase the car I was at the end of the line. My salesman ended up working with and going on test drives with 2 other folks while I was left to wait for the paperwork to be processed and for the car to be prepared. I didn’t expect him to sit with me the whole time but would’ve been nice to be giving updates or for someone to check in while I was waiting. Overall I liked the Costco program and it’s pricing but felt like the experience was still a little less than ideal. In the future , I would work with Paul again but I would still be prepared for the add ons and extended warranties the finance guy wanted have me agree to. More
