The folks at Honda of Joliet have exceeded my expectations from the first introduction and throughout the buying process. In this market, it's tough to find integrity and feel like you're more t expectations from the first introduction and throughout the buying process. In this market, it's tough to find integrity and feel like you're more than a sales metric. I've purchased several cars over the years from a variety of dealers and this was by far the most enjoyable experience. Manny was the sales person who welcomed me (even without an appointment) and shook my hand at the door. He took the time to understand my needs and did not pressure me or push for a higher spend. Each of the 3 car options I selected were made available to test and thoroughly explained. I felt like he took pride and enjoyed his position which makes a big difference when it comes to building trust through the buying process. The 2 visits I made to the dealership were later in the evening and he was more than willing to stay late as well as respond to questions. I would recommend him as well as the other staff I met to anyone serious about buying a car. One other detail which stood out was the warm welcome I received from the other people regardless of their roles. Other sales people even offered to help with my purchase when time permitted. The finance process was exactly as I had expected through the pre-qualification and went much more smoothly than I've experienced at other dealers. I'm thrilled with the car choice and feel like I can contact the dealership with any needs I may have in the future. Thank you. More

In June of 2022 - I found a vehicle on the lot, which was marked up for market adjustment. I was willing to pay it because it’s the car I wanted. The car was relayed to me as available. I told Oren I wanted marked up for market adjustment. I was willing to pay it because it’s the car I wanted. The car was relayed to me as available. I told Oren I wanted the vehicle and wanted to put a deposit down to ensure it was mine. I then went through getting my loan documents ready because I was preapproved. I asked no less than 6 times to put a deposit on the vehicle to ensure it was mine. I was repeatedly told that the car was mine because I had provided them with all of the documents they requested to include my D/L, insurance, loan docs, etc. We had an appointment set for closing and everything. I asked yet again to make sure it was mine if I needed to put a deposit down. I was again told no need. 6 hours later, Oren told me the sales manager sold the vehicle 1 hour ago from last communication after it was already in the process to be mine. This unethical business practice looks really bad for your dealership. My salesman was Oren Ferguson not sure who the grimey sales manager was at the time. I couldn’t be more irritated with how poorly I was treated as a customer and intend on submitting a poor review for your dealership on every review platform possible to ensure people know just how poorly you treat customers. More
