I had my truck in or trailer lights not working they kept it for 2 weeks. They had to order a part I had to get my truck back because I'm moving to Oklahoma. The service advisor said the part was coming in t it for 2 weeks. They had to order a part I had to get my truck back because I'm moving to Oklahoma. The service advisor said the part was coming in that day or the next day but no guarantee. I did not keep me up to date on the truck I had to call him. I would call them after 2 or 3 days because I would not hear from them. Then I would get the service advisor voicemail it would take 4 or 5 hours for him to call me back. Service guy that was working on my truck said he could get not get my truck back in for 2 weeks. So I scheduled it for this last Monday took it in 8:00 in the morning and after 3 days being in the shop I had a call again. A few hours later they finally called me back said they have the part in but it's still not working right and going to have to keep the truck. And call Ford hotline. They said it could take 12 to 24 hours for them to respond back. I have two more trips to move to Oklahoma before the weekend and I told him I need the truck. The service visor said let me talk to my service manager this was at 9:00 in the morning 3:00 in the afternoon the service manager called me. They service manager told me that they need to keep my truck because they had several parts on order. And when I told him there was only one part ordered and it was already on there he looked at again said oh that's right. He told me that he would get with the service advisor and talk to him at 5:00 I went to go pick up my truck cuz I had not heard from him. My truck was in the parking lot when I went in service advisor said you're here to pick up your truck I said yes and y'all did not call me and tell me it was ready. I told him I needed the paperwork on the truck he said if the front didn't have it called the service manager. The service manager went outside and the service guy that was working on it was already gone and did not close out the paperwork. Service manager told me that he would email me the paperwork the next day. I'll call them today at 11:00 left a voicemail with the service advisor did not hear from him again do not have an email with my paperwork. Back to the top when they had my truck for 2 weeks every time I talk to him he said he emailed the service person but never did get a response back from him. He said he might have to walk back there and talk to him which is about 25 yards. If this is the way they do their business with emails only and nobody responds back no wonder they had my truck for 2 weeks. How hard is it for somebody to get off their chair and go back to talk to a real person instead of emailing. I still have to take my truck back in but not to them I'll be taking it to dealership in Oklahoma. When I took it first then it was still under warranty but the few trips I had to make to Oklahoma now it's out hopefully Ford will pay for the problem I'm having and we'll be covered under warranty. That's why I took it in the first time before the warranty ran out. Oh also I had a bulb out on the tail light and they replaced it but they told me they had to reprogram the truck if you put a new tail light light bulb in I found out from another dealership that is not right you do not have to reprogram it. I guess I'll have to spend my time calling back to get my paperwork in my email it seems like it be no problem since that's all they do is email people. I guess it's easier to send their employees email then one of their customers. I would never take my truck back to Five Star Ford in North Richland Hills Texas. I've seen a bunch of reviews on this dealership and they're all five stars so they must delete the ones that give them a bad review. More

Great experience buying a used car at five star! Third or fourth time dealing with Odie. Made an appointment for recall work a week ago. I was scheduled with a different service advisor. Hope he stays at Five Star since it's close to home but if he moves to another Ford dealership I'll just go there. More

Love me some Five Star Ford! My wife's 2017 Edge Titanium needed service because the "wrench" light came on. Dropped it off and met with Odie Terry, our Service Advisor. Odie informed us that it will be a da needed service because the "wrench" light came on. Dropped it off and met with Odie Terry, our Service Advisor. Odie informed us that it will be a day or 2 before a tech could get to it because they are always so busy. Odie called me a couple of days later and said the battery wasn't getting enough volts to the sensors, creating numerous error codes. Replaced the battery and one code came back as a torque converter issue. Once we found out they would be keeping it awhile Odie arranged a rental car for us. Turns out the transmission needed a complete overhaul. Thank God for the 5 year/60k mile power train warranty, which covered everything! Took about a week but once we got it back it drove like a dream! Odie called me every 2 days to give me a progress report. He made what was a major inconvenience much more bearable. It's nice to know there's a dealership close to us we can totally trust to service our Edge and do everything right. Hats off to you Odie Terry, you are a true professional and an outstanding ambassador to the Ford Motor Company! More
