Wanted to buy an in-stock Sienna Limited and after multiple attempts, they would not give me an out-the-door price in a timely manner. When they finally did after saying I needed to know before travel multiple attempts, they would not give me an out-the-door price in a timely manner. If you value your time, money, and honesty, stay as far as you can away from this stealership. A true classic car stealership that want to make a quick buck off of you! I was in the market for a 2022 Tacom as you can away from this stealership. A true classic car stealership that want to make a quick buck off of you! I was in the market for a 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro in Manual transmission, and found this listing online for MSRP. I verified it on their website, Car Gurus, and others. I called in a few times to make sure that it was still good, and they assured me that they were willing to make a deal at MSRP or better. The day before I decided to make a two-hour drive away from home they reassured that it was still good. I woke up my family at 5AM to be there first thing when they opened, made the two hour trip to find out that a “Brand New” vehicle is no longer “New”, because it already had 386 miles and the person I test drove with even told me to floor it! I know that Toyota recommends a 621 mile break in period where you have to stay below 3500rpm and vary engine speed not send it to redline on every test drive! This was a manual so it was sitting on their lot for 59 days when I came in. Then we went to sit down for numbers. They had us fill out a credit application way before the numbers were even discussed, put on this big dog and pony show on options we can use like finance, lease, or cash for absolutely no reason. Anyone with any knowledge of using the internet already knows these options. They then came out with a very suspicious paper that only had the vehicle price and the trade-in value. The price was now revealed to be $10,000 above MSRP “market adjusted value” with no reasoning, no justification, nothing. The trade in offer was atrocious, and I had a very decent trade in, not a beat down throwaway vehicle. I already had another deal at a different dealership, but I wanted to give this one a chance because they might give me a better offer… All in all, waste of time, effort and gas money to try and deal with clowns dressed as businessmen/women. Take your money elsewhere and don’t look back! I would give this stealership a -5/5 stars if I could. More

Worst experience ever. Waited 7 days and 5 different associates to finally get some numbers to review. They came back with $396 lease payments on a Corolla that was $2700 over the national advertised MS associates to finally get some numbers to review. Bait & Switch sales strategy by the General Sales Manager Last June 20, 2019, I spoke with the General Sales Manager, Nate Richard about purchasing a 2019 4Runner. We spoke several times on the phone and cam Last June 20, 2019, I spoke with the General Sales Manager, Nate Richard about purchasing a 2019 4Runner. We spoke several times on the phone and came to a gentleman's agreement about the final purchase price and made the sale via phone. The next day, Friday, 6/21, Nate called me several times to work out the details and he asked me when I would be coming to the dealership to finalize the deal and do the paperwork. I told him that I would be at Toyota of North Charlotte after 5:00pm with the check, the Camry for trade, and all the documents he requested for me to bring. I arrived at Toyota of Charlotte around 6:00pm (less than 24 hours from first contact with Nate), I was indeed greeted by Nate and he asked me to go with another Sales person to find the 4Runner on the lot so I could test drive it. The salesperson and myself walked around the entire parking lot of the dealership and could not find the car, so we went back to see Nate. Nate came out of the office and informed me that he had good news and bad news for me. He said that my 2016 Camry trade looked good but the bad news was that the 2019 4Runner, that we agreed upon me purchasing, was sold to another customer earlier that day! Nate did not have the backbone to tell me about this earlier that Friday prior to me showing up later that day. He wasted my time and was dishonest about it. I thought Toyota of North Charlotte is a reputable business. I was wrong. Nate's unprofessional and deceptive actions made Toyota of North Charlotte like a typical dishonest used car lot! Toyota should be ashamed of this type of bait and switch sales strategy! Toyota should deflag Toyota of North Charlotte. It damages Toyota's great reputation. When I left Toyota of North Charlotte dealership that Friday, I provided the receptionist my contact information and asked her to tell the owner of Toyota of North Charlotte, Bob Siviglia to contact me. To date, never heard from Mr. Siviglia. That tells me that Toyota of North Charlotte does not give a xxxx about their customers. I sent an e-mail to Mr. Jim Lentz, President and CEO of Toyota Motor Corporations, USA and to the Toyoda family and shared my experience with Toyota of North Charlotte. My advice to any person or persons who are considering doing business with Toyota of North Charlotte is to watch out for people like Nate Richard and if possible avoid doing business with Toyota of North Charlotte. The owner of this dealership was non responsive when I tried to contact him. There are many great Toyota dealerships within the Charlotte area that treat their customers fair and square! Go and contact them and compare what they can offer you. At the end of the day, we the customers are the only reason why these dealerships are in business. Patronize the dealership that are reputable, honest, fair, and treat their customers with respect! I can tell you Toyota of North Charlotte does not possess all of the things that I mentioned above as a reputable business! Rod More
