Overall, I felt like the team did a solid job keeping me in the loop and communicating throughout the repair process. I really appreciated them handling all the warranty stuff and getting my engine repla me in the loop and communicating throughout the repair process. I really appreciated them handling all the warranty stuff and getting my engine replaced. My car came in with a completely blown engine and left running again, so I’m definitely thankful for that. That said, things went downhill after I picked it up. As soon as I drove off, I realized the A/C wasn’t working anymore. It had been fine before I brought the car in, but I was told it wasn’t related to the engine work. I didn’t notice until I was about 15 minutes away, and when I called, it didn’t feel like my concern was taken very seriously. I was basically told I’d have to take it in and it wouldn’t be looked at till the end of day if at all that day. All of this happened while I was in the middle of moving out of state, so it’s been really stressful trying to deal with getting my car back to normal. I do think the staff did what they could with the engine repair, and I appreciate that, but I left feeling pretty let down by how everything after that was handled. Honestly, it’s also added to my frustration with owning a Kia in general. More
