It has been 10 years since we (my husband and I) had last purchased a vehicle. Most people would shop around and jump to different dealerships trying to find the best deal, but with my experience I didn’t ha purchased a vehicle. We inquired about a newly used vehicle and by luck we were placed with Robert Bell…. Personally I didn’t want to be overwhelmed with options so Mr. Bell helped narrow down 3 different cars with relatively same mileage and similar costs. He was knowledgeable and not pushy whatsoever. Highly recommend Robert and this dealership. It’s so hard to get good and honest customer service these days, so thank you to Robert and his team for exceeding all our expectation! Also side note: Mike Pytel… although he was not our salesman, he sat at his desk behind Mr. Bells, and he also greeted me with a smile and helped lend a hand when I cut myself opening a toy for my kids in the waiting area. I know it’s not a huge deal, but he was just so nice and helpful in aiding the situation. Super nice guy, and I’m sure he’s just as amazing as Robert at his job! I purchased a truck 10 days before Tom Holzer sold to Serra Ford. My truck was purchased with a 5yr/60,000 warranty. I currently have an engine light for cat converters which would be covered under warra Serra Ford. My truck was purchased with a 5yr/60,000 warranty. I currently have an engine light for cat converters which would be covered under warranty at no cost, but this truck was sold to me with aftermarket converters for whatever reason and now the work cannot be done under warranty. I was offered a payout solution from the managers at the Farmington Hills dealership, but was denied any fix by Serra Corporation. They claim that the vehicle was purchased from Tom Holzer and therefore they will do nothing to resolve this issue. I will never buy from Serra or recommend Serra Ford to anyone...ever. They absolutely do not care about holding any positive customer relations. They are a large corporation and care only about themselves. Buyer beware when it comes to believing your vehicle comes with an actual warranty. More
