Deceptive practices right from the moment you walk in the door. I started our purchase via the internet sales team and right away asked for a quote as I was helping my brother purchase his first (newer) car. door. I quickly was given the requested Information by their internet sales manager with just a few simple questions. I called back and requested to come look at the vehicle and I was assigned Michael Lehman, the dealerships highest performing salesman, more on that later. I arrived and was greeted by Michael who initially was very friendly and apologized for having another customer that he was finishing up with. We went on a test drive and everything went well until we sat down at his desk. I informed Michael that we had received a quote already from another member of the sales team and would also be using our own financing. These both seemed to irritate Michael as he stood up and without a word walked to the sales management office to write up their own offer. Upon returning the new quote to us with the 3k dollar “Honda advantage” package not previously listed on my quote I informed him that we would not purchase unless they honored the previously provided quote. He countered by informing us of his employment prestige of 16 years and how internet sales always forgets to mention their protection package. Now I’m a car purchasing veteran and I’ve been through all these lines more than a dozen times and knew nothing he would tell me is true. He tried to make sure that we weren’t upset at him personally by throwing various other employees under the bus for the pricing discrepancy while still reminding us how his 16 years there made him somehow look less to blame when he could’ve just opened with asking to see our quote (knowing it wasn’t going to be on there) and informing us from the start. Oh and I brought my son with us who is autistic, my son made a stimming noise (as they all do) and he gave him a nasty look like he was disgusted. While waiting for my brother to finish in the financing department (more on that later) I had referred to my son as being autistic and Michael straight up wanted to argue with me that I shouldn’t call him that and should instead only call him “gifted” maybe he meant well who knows but he sure came off as arrogant and impolite especially since I too am autistic. Back to the finance office, I’m sorry I do not know his name he was really really nice other than not taking no for an answer regarding the extended warranty we didn’t want. Buyer beware, stay away from this place and anywhere Michael Lehman works. More

Entire staff, especially Mike Lehman, was extremely pleasant and helpful. We knew what we wanted before we got there and had called ahead. Very stressful experience I went in to Honda Ocala to lease a car I told them I get brochures in the mail and they wanted almost 3 times the amount to lease a car then what the brochure said I asked the lease a car I told them I get brochures in the mail and they wanted almost 3 times the amount to lease a car then what the brochure said I asked the money guy. why do you send brochures that’s false advertisement and he said just to get you in here and laughed.so I then asked what if I buy the car , and that’s where it began .I told the salesman and finance manager I did not want an extended warranty. The sticker price on the car was 25,477 and they charged me 27,800. Also put a $3085 extended warranty without my authorization. At the end the finance manager told me he would give me for $20 more a month a warranty on all my electronics so I told him OK so I could get out of there. There is no documentation on the paperwork for that either that was just his way to jack my payment up $20 a month . They put everything on a flash drive. I asked to see the numbers and the finance manager said in a few minutes there was two of them in there and kept distracting me when I got home I saw where they took advantage of me they tell you that you are a member of the family I do not agree with that. I was asked to wait till the end of the week before I said anything by the salesman and I did. He said he would help me get my money back for the extended warranty. Never happened .Salesman Also said that the general manager would call me I believe his name was Justin never happened bottom line here please read your paperwork force them to slow down on the final paperwork, so you can read it.They will take advantage of you. My salesman Mike was awesome in the beginning, but in the end I was left to fend for myself.I will not do any future business with Honda of Ocala More

ROB YOUNG, SERVICE DEPARTMENT: I have been requesting Rob Young for years because he is a no nonsense, dependable, reliable and honest professional. If Rob states it can or cannot be done, I requesting Rob Young for years because he is a no nonsense, dependable, reliable and honest professional. If Rob states it can or cannot be done, I believe him without hesitation. He will and does go way above and beyond the call of duty. I feel lucky to have a service representative that I know is looking out for my best interest and will offer solid and sound advice when I request an explanation for a question about service that I don't understand. I would recommend Rob to any and all, and knows that Honda of Ocala has a stellar employee who represents the company to the highest degree. I have no doubt that many customers are repeat customers because of Rob. I have dealerships close to me, but because of Rob, I continue to have my last 3 Honda’s serviced with Ocala Honda. SALES DEPT - MIKE LEHMAN- I also want to compliment Mike Lehman who sold me my 2021 Honda CR-V. I was having problems getting anyone to call me back although I left several messages with the receptionist. I wanted to get an oil change at the same time of my Auto Butler. So much time elapsed that I couldn't go any longer without an oil change. I called Mike on a Sunday afternoon telling him my oil light was down to 10% and no one would call me back after leaving many messages. He was at home with his family and dropped EVERYTHING to get me set up the NEXT day for an appointment with Rob Young to get my oil changed. Mike told me to call him any time of the day or night if I had a problem and he really came through for me. I can't express, enough, how dependable and helpful he has been in the 1.5 years I've owned my Honda. Thank you, Mike, for everything!!!! He promised to be there when he sold me the car and he has fulfilled that promise. He is very knowledgeable about the product and is an excellent salesman. He convinced me to buy this car because I had vowed to myself that I would NEVER buy a car from Ocala again, having had a terrible experience in 2018. But he got me to do it (I still don't know how he did it) but he's that good! More
