An excellent dealership to work with. Summit Toyota represents a rarity in the automobile industry: a dealership that maintains a high level of integrity. Ladd Kraemer, the sales person I dealt with, was a joy to work with and took the time to make sure I understood and was satisfied with the transaction at every step of the way. All personnel at the dealership are friendly, courteous and helpful. Overall, Summit Toyota is a dealership where you can feel comfortable that you will receive professional service and be able to negotiate an auto purchase that you will feel comfortable with. I have been a customer of Summit Toyota for over 15 years and numerous purchases. I highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family ... and to you. More

The entire transaction felt like they were trying to help us find the right vehicle for a good price. We never felt any anxiety or discomfort throughout the sales process. The sales manager Mike Maloy even came out to make sure everything was going smoothly and we were happy. I would strongly recommend John Heslep to anyone considering buying a new or used vehicle. Due diligence is absolutely essential After reviewing vehicles for a couple weeks, I narrowed my choices to a few vehicles at a few different dealerships. Unfortunately when I stopped at t After reviewing vehicles for a couple weeks, I narrowed my choices to a few vehicles at a few different dealerships. Unfortunately when I stopped at this dealership I was not assertive enough about my requirements and wants. The sales team was more interested in simply selling a vehicle than in helping me find a vehicle to meet my needs. I was shown vehicles that did not have the features I requested, and it quickly became obvious the sales associate working with me did not know the features of Toyota vehicles or the dealership's current stock of vehicles. He was friendly and clearly had sales skills (e.g., customer priming hacks such as regularly referred to the vehicle as "yours/your car" etc. before purchase), but he did not seem knowledgeable about the cars he was selling. As the interaction went on, I felt my concerns were ignored and I was told the vehicle had features it did not have. I can't explain why I just gave up and made the bad decision to purchase it. I wish I walked away. The following days when I looked at the vehicle more carefully, read reviews, and looked at the owner's manual I cried and cried. The car has poorly painted dings, scrapes, and a half-dollar sized dent in the bumper. It has stains on the seats and scrapes on the dashboard. The road noise is horrid; I can barely hear my child's voice in the back seat. When I contacted the dealership and raised concerns, the sales associate told me that I knew I was looking at the vehicle when it was dark, and I was told by the sales manager the paperwork cleared and the car was mine. Fortunately the sales manager conceded to my "dismay" by installing one of the main features I requested. This was a very stressful and depressing experience, and I made a very, very bad decision to purchase from Summit Toyota. I know I will take a financial hit when I trade this vehicle in, but I will try to find another vehicle as quickly as possible (not from Summit Toyota). More

Simply Amazing! My auto purchase was unplanned. My previous vehicle died sooner than expected. I called Shannon. I told her what I wanted. I thought I'd hear back in My auto purchase was unplanned. My previous vehicle died sooner than expected. I called Shannon. I told her what I wanted. I thought I'd hear back in a few days with options. The next day she put me in the "perfect car". That's what she said "I have the perfect car for you". After I drove it I knew she was right. I knew I wanted a Toyota. I hadn't decided whether the Yaris, Matrix or Camry was right for me. It turns out, the Toyota Avalon is perfect for me! Buying a car can be confusing, stressful, even unnerving. At Summit Toyota it was fun. Thanks Shannon! More

Check engine light My son bought a used car with their 30 day 1,000 mile warranty. One week to the day the check engine light came on. He can't get the car titled because it won't pass E-check. A call to the dealership yielded an answer from the manager that he CAN sell cars that won't pass E-check and that their warranty wouldn't cover the necessary repair. It's not hard to reset an engine light and hope for the best...and I suspect that could have happened wether intentional or not.. I was upset that we were blown off and the managers attitude that he can sell cars that you can't title without YOU fixing it at your expense. Ohio case law seems to dispute the managers statement, especially where E-check is mandatory.. I would personally never buy a new or used car from these guys. More

Great customer service - Keeps me coming back each time! I just wanted to send a quick note to say KUDOS to Bob Wilson in the Service Dept. What should have been a routine 1 hour oil change somehow turned in I just wanted to send a quick note to say KUDOS to Bob Wilson in the Service Dept. What should have been a routine 1 hour oil change somehow turned into 3, and basically spent the rest my workday there unexpectedly. After breaking a lug nut / stud off for the tire rotation Bob informed me they would be getting the repair ASAP at no additional charge. I have been at other service centers where they would no question charge for something like this and turn into a bigger headache than it already is. I appreciate Bob’s courtesy and honesty while I had to wait so long and he made sure to credit me for the inconvenience. I have only been to Summit Toyota a handful of times so far but its employees like Bob that keep me coming back there. I always feel comfortable and trust everything to be done right and fair…( and in my experience that hasn’t always been the case at car dealers!) So credit is due where it is deserved. Also, before leaving I spoke with Mike Maloy about a possible trade in later and felt like it would be a great place to make a deal if they could find my next Tundra hopefully! Thanks again! More

I had visited another dealership that had a specific car that I w My experience with Summit Toyota was very much unexpected, but turned out very well. I had visited another dealership that had a specific car that I wanted to take a look at. Turns out it wasn't what I wanted and I started to head home. On the way home we decided to stop by Summit Toyota just to look because I really liked the new 2014 Corollas, but I had no intentions of buying one. I didn't even think I would be able to because I'm still pretty young to be purchasing a car and I'm currently a full time student who works part time as well. Therefore I didn't think I had much credit to get financed. So after talking to a few of the salesmen I chose to look into leasing. In the end they were able to work with me and I was able to get approved for my loan! Everyone who I talked to was extremely helpful and I had a wonderful salesman. He mentioned he hadn't been there for too long, but he was very kind and helpful in helping my make my decisions. I love my new Corolla and I am very happy and content with my choice to lease from Summit Toyota. I would definitely recommend it to other customers! More

Mike explained everything I needed to know about the Corolla before I got in to take it for a test drive. The entire experience was comfortable and they weren't pushy. I felt like I could make the best decision for me without being pushed into something. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good experience purchasing/leasing a vehicle. I can now say that I drive a car that I feel safe and secure in. Thank you!!!!!! More
