It was incredibly difficult to find a vehicle that checked all of our boxes. Nothing was available locally, and everything we found was out of town. We also dealt with several unhelpful dealers along the way. Finally, a vehicle popped up on CarGurus at Beaver Toyota in St. Augustine (about two hours away). Mike and Laurence were extremely helpful and worked out a deal over the phone with my husband on Thursday. He was very fair throughout the negotiation process. The next day, without a babysitter, I packed up my five kids and made the drive to pick up the car, all while needing to return a rental. Mike and the staff at Beaver Toyota were incredibly accommodating. The Admin clerk at the front desk, Robin gave my kids a conference room to sit and snack, and brought them snacks and toys to keep them occupied, she was so helpful with the kids. They even provided concierge service to drop off my rental car. Mike was also very flexible and completed all of the paperwork with my husband—who was at work—via email. He had me in and out in under three hours. I was so worried about the travel and the time at the dealership with my kids, but Mike and the Beaver staff made the entire process easy and stress-free. Got an okay deal for a Camry, went to my bank beforehand and they got me approved for a 35k loan for max 616 a month for 72 months, and even after telling them this Michael Elkin undersold my trade in (was and they got me approved for a 35k loan for max 616 a month for 72 months, and even after telling them this Michael Elkin undersold my trade in (was 4000 dollars negative equity) wouldn’t negotiate on it, tried to make me sign on 630 a month for 84 months which would’ve cost me an extra 7000 dollars, and he was blatantly rude, talked over me, and was generally sleazy, also Toyota didn’t service the vehicle before they sold it to me, had to come back to get an alignment, resurfaced the “extremely warped rotors” as it said on my receipt, and fill fluids (which were close to empty), in general I’d stay away More
