I have had several transactions with this company. The model is great but the execution is awful. There has never been a perfect result. I am ALWAYS chasing them down for something. I am the fleet manager of a company in New England and this could be such a great partnership but they do everything in their power to sabotage every deal I have ever made. From cars showing up damaged to showing up without license plates it is always a crap show. And I can never get the sales people on the phone. Mike is gone now so maybe Zach inherited a mess but on the latest transaction,the car was paid for on 11/6 the car was delivered with a huge dent in the door on 12/4 after I sent several emails, etc..Now it has sat in the parking lot for a week because Merchants cannot get their act together to pick it up to repair it. Meanwhile I have a sales person at our company who has nothing to drive since mid-November. I add several vehicles every year, I have also utilized the Guarantee-Buy program on several occassions--since Merchants is literally in my backyard. I will reach out to their competitors--I don't care if they are located on the other side of the country--it has to be better than this! More
