The process for getting an estimate on a trade-in is flawed as I couldn't get even a ball-park idea of what they would pay me for a trade-in (just a verbal assurance that "I think we can do better than flawed as I couldn't get even a ball-park idea of what they would pay me for a trade-in (just a verbal assurance that "I think we can do better than that" when I told them the KBB and CarMax valuations) until day of pickup and then it was more than $1,400 under the lowest estimate. I would not have done a trade-in had I been provided the information. It felt like a bait and switch. Plus, there was a lack of explanation about the 2-year maintenance and add-on service plans ahead of time. Untimely information at the point of writing a very large check was stressful and not customer-oriented. It took three tries to get the final sales figures to be accurate. More
