While it was an unfortunate situation, it provided an opportunity to see how Conestoga Motors handles challenges. I contacted Mel and Jerry to inform them of the issue, and they responded with professionalism and integrity. They immediately took the necessary steps to address the problem under the warranty, ensuring the process was as smooth as possible. I purposely waited months to write this review to ensure the resolution was completed correctly—and I’m happy to report it absolutely was. When things go wrong, you learn a lot about people and businesses, and I discovered that Mel, Jerry, and the team at Conestoga Motors are genuine, honest, and committed to their customers. After reaching out and exchanging emails for a few days, I decided to make the trip to Ephrata—a place I had never been—to test drive the car. The vehicle was exactly as described, and the attention to detail in preparing it was impressive. After a quick test drive, I sealed the deal and drove away in less than an hour. I also had the pleasure of having a wholesome conversation with Mel and a few others in the office as Mel finalized the paperwork. Being born and raised in Texas, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of connecting with others that I would not have met if I was not buying this car. My family and I had the most amazing experience with Mel at Conestoga Motors. I have never felt so comfortable and filled with peace making a large purchase. Mel didn't try to "sell" us anything or push an at Conestoga Motors. I have never felt so comfortable and filled with peace making a large purchase. Mel didn't try to "sell" us anything or push anything on us. He was genuine and honest and took time to get to know us, even our 9 yr old daughter..who was such a trooper through it all. Not only did I get to leave with the car I wanted, at the price I was hoping for but this incredible man offered to pray over my family and this new car before we drove away. As a family of faith, we knew from the moment we walked in we were meant to be there, meant to meet Mel, and purchase this exact car. I left in tears, tears of joy and feeling the goodness of God. We didn't get to work much with Gerry, the other salesman, but he was kind, helpful and had a similar peaceful demeanor about him.
