The issue was never simply whether I would eventually be paid — it was the five months of repeated follow-ups, multiple trips back to the dealership to correct paperwork that was not handled properly, the continued blatant lies and the lack of proactive communication throughout the process. Customer service is measured not only by completing a transaction, but by how responsibly and professionally issues are handled when they arise. In my experience, that standard was not met. I have requested a meaningful resolution to bring closure to this matter — either the return of my original trade-in vehicle (as I have requested multiple times), or if it has been sold, payment of the trade-in value represented at the time of purchase in exchange for cancelling/terminating our contract and return the Genesis GV80, or provide an appropriate reimbursement for the significant time and inconvenience caused by this prolonged process. I have involved the New Vehicle Commission and have had multiple conversations with Genesis Corporate and Genesis Customer Care, and I will continue to stay engaged to ensure this matter is properly reviewed. I am simply seeking accountability and fair restitution for what has been one of the most difficult vehicle purchasing experiences I have encountered.
