Juan Carlos, Safety recalls are performed on all vehicles, including salvage titles, but certain warranty extensions are not covered under salvage vehicles per the manufacturer. This was explained prior to the work being performed. Based on our assessment, we believe the check engine light may be related to a separate issue. Unfortunately, our shop does not perform maintenance repairs on salvage title vehicles, which would include further diagnosis or repairs for the check engine light.
