I had a deeply frustrating experience at Tameron Hyundai. I visited on July 12th, found a Nissan, and clearly communicated to salesman Matthew Johnson that I had a pre-approved loan and did not want to finan I visited on July 12th, found a Nissan, and clearly communicated to salesman Matthew Johnson that I had a pre-approved loan and did not want to finance through anyone else. Despite this, when I returned to finalize the purchase on July 15th, I was kept waiting for hours and ended up with a higher APR than expected. To my dismay, I later discovered that the dealership used a different bank, not my pre-approved lender, resulting in a much higher interest rate. This lack of honesty and transparency is especially troubling in today's tough financial climate, where trust is crucial for large purchases. I attempted to resolve the issue, including canceling gap insurance and repeatedly contacting manager Chayse Fuller, who failed to respond. Despite promises from other staff, my calls and emails were ignored, and the situation remained unresolved for weeks. After refinancing with the correct bank at a lower rate, the dealership committed to refunding the amount paid for the gap insurance. However, despite this commitment, the refund has still not been processed. The overall experience of poor communication and dishonesty has been deeply disappointing. I would not recommend Tameron Hyundai based on my experience. More
