Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with Greenway. I bought a used car that showed significant defects after just 3 days. The check engine light came on, the coolant was missing, and the start/stop sy I bought a used car that showed significant defects after just 3 days. The check engine light came on, the coolant was missing, and the start/stop system didn’t work because the battery was faulty. All in all, I spent an entire day at their service center getting the car repaired. On a positive note, the service team was very friendly and supportive! Zero points for the sales team. They tried to tell me that it’s normal for the coolant level to be below minimum when the engine is warm. Nonsense! Till today nobody reached out to me to clarify the topics, which I would expect! Negotiated a deal on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Agreed to the price for the purchase. Showed up by appointment, down payment in hand. All preliminary paperwork completed no issues. Was there for Agreed to the price for the purchase. Showed up by appointment, down payment in hand. All preliminary paperwork completed no issues. Was there for the purpose of finalizing the deal. I signed the paperwork and presented my down payment. Now please understand initially I was dealing with Tyson Meyer (sales rep). Tyson took me on the test drive and did the follow up with me. When I went back to the dealership I asked for Tyson but they weren't real clear as to why Tyson was unavailable so I began dealing with Scott Mason. Everything went as it was supposed to up until the closing of the deal. I show up for my scheduled appointment as stated above. Now both Scott and Tyson are at my table as I am preparing to purchase this vehicle. Something is up but I'm not exactly sure what. They go to the "finance office" and reappear with the news they are unable to sell this vehicle to me because it has an open recall. They emphasize the "potential fire" wording on the recall as to why they are unable to sell the vehicle. This simply isn't the case but let's move forward. I offer to sign a "hold harmless" letter specific to their concerns. So they start down the path of let's see what we can do. I point out "something ain't right here, I feel like you are selling this vehicle out from under me". I'm assured that isn't the case. They are not sure what we can do at this particular moment but they commit to getting the Sales Manager Matt Bishop involved. A couple of days go by and they are deliberating between sending it to the Auction or trying to fix it. They have me on "hold" for a few days because I want this vehicle and am waiting to see if they will fix it (they are "unable" to because there is no "fix" - you can search these things yourself at the NTSB or NADA site) or send it to the auction of which I have made them aware to let me know "where and when" so I can purchase it there. A couple of phone calls are exchanged as well as texts all continuing to tell me they are working on it. I get a call they're checking on the parts and have it in the shop and it will be fixed. The deal is back on. Yay!! But two days later I'm told it can't be fixed because even though the parts are identical to the current models there is no "official fix" so they will not be able to fix it. They once again do not know what they are going to do at this point. I tell them to keep me in the loop because I want this vehicle. Time is passing and texts are sent from me to Scott and Matt Bishop (Sales Manager). The texts infer they are still trying to decide what to do with this vehicle. This started in February. Texts were sent and responded to in March and April. 8 to 10 texts in all. Last one in May, no response. There was no, "We can't believe we are stuck with an unsaleable vehicle due to safety reasons or we've decided to send it to auction". So now I'm a little confused because according to Car Fax this vehicle sold March 1, 2024 registered to the dealership. This means they registered it for demo purposes (personal use. Let's say the owners daughter wanted it possibly). Dealerships don't register vehicles sent to auction they don't have too. They lied to my face and continued the lie for months (I have texts to prove it). So, either they took a 25k trade unaware it had a "dangerous potential life threatening fire" open recall making it unsellable (didn't happen. Dealerships pick your car apart to lower the trade value, they knew) or they jeopardized the safety of their personnel using this vehicle as a demo. I don't think I can stomach one more "Jeep bursts into flames" story due to Jeep's unsolvable recall. It must be terrible to be a Jeep dealer now, unable to trade or sell dangerous Jeeps. The vehicle sold to someone in South Carolina March 30th. I hope they fixed the unsolvable recall. But I'll keep an eye out for another Jeep on fire story. Liars!! Unethical!! No Integrity!! More

We literally had one of the easiest purchases to complete. Found the car (Saleen Mustang) online and paid cash. Simple right? NOPE not with Greenway. All paperwork was overnighted to wrong addres complete. Found the car (Saleen Mustang) online and paid cash. Simple right? NOPE not with Greenway. All paperwork was overnighted to wrong address then the salesperson lied about it. We told Travis you have to be our eyes and ears on this because we are not local to test drive it. He told us he had personally driven this vehicle and mechanically the car was great. He said there were small imperfections on the vehicle due to age but again runs perfect. (mileage was only in the 40's) We arranged and paid for the shipping. On arrival to Missouri, car immediately fails safety and emission inspections! Arrived with no paperwork, gas cap or trunk keys. Exhaust was not even hooked up! Estimate to repair $1,299.99. Tires were all dry rotted, gas gauge works intermittently, louvers flew right off vehicle while driving. (They had been 2 way taped on!) Rims and tires had been spray painted black, Entire windshield had full illegal tint, Trunk does not open at all, had to have ball joint replaced. Stopped returning our calls when we asked for money back. This was a 17K car, not some 5K wholesale vehicle. This car was the worst vehicle we have ever purchased. Travis lies to his customers then stops returning calls. We ended up settling on 2K off the original price with sales manager but this car should have never been sold to the public period! DO NOT TRUST! The only reason we got the 2K off after purchase or got a call back was when they realized our payment to them had not cleared the bank yet or they never would have spoken to us again at all. More
