I hear your concerns, and I completely understand why the numbers feel confusing and frustrating right now. No offense taken at all—you’re asking the right questions. The goal of “going over the numbers” isn’t to spin anything, but to break everything down line by line so you can clearly see how the price is broken down to the final amount. That includes taxes, fees, lender terms, and any optional coverage that may have been added or removed. Right now, it sounds like we haven’t done a good enough job making that transparent for you.

I don’t understand how this loan amount keeps growing. I just received the financial papers from Sky and now it show the total purchase as over 57000. The car was advertised for 46380. My trade was 10500 and I put 7000 down. I understand tax, title, doc fees. I also extended the warranty. When Mark and I were talking about my trade in, he offered 9500, I came back with 10500. He said would you buy the car at 36500, I said yes. I had no clue that that price included my 7000 down. I’m not a stupid person.. I would never just willing hand over 7000. The whole transaction doesn’t make sense. I honest to god feel swindled beyond belief…I just feel for an upper class car dealer this should’ve been handled differently. No customer should go home feeling like they were part of grifting scheme. Also, I’m supposed to get the driver side window fixed because it “whistles”. I messaged Mark and asked if I could go to the McGrath in Naperville and the response I get is to call him…. Absolutely not.. he’s done enough. I do want the window fixed as agreed but at a different dealer. I’m not sure how you can help this situation at the damage has been done. I just feel it never should’ve been this way. I have never purchased a vehicle and felt absolutely ripped off… I do now

I work tomorrow. No offense but what would “going over the numbers” do? Not sure how a car goes from 46380 to 50564 to now over 57000. Regardless of the fees or whatever spin Skyler put on it. One thing that didn’t change was what put down 7000 plus my trade of 10500 totaling 17500 but my loan financed out was 36499.99….. I also want to add that the “Acura Package” that was to cover dings and dents and provide me with 6 years and 10000 miles actually turned out to be just the additional warranty and know of the other stuff was added unless I wanted my payment to jump to 806 from 664…. Seriously something is seriously wrong here.
