Happy New Year. Let me start by saying every person I met on the LM Surprise lot was friendly and helpful. However, my experience with the delivery left much to be desired. Here's the timeline. Friday, December 27, I negotiated a purchase for a new 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. Stock number PN1851, VIN 2C3CD2FJ4PH615151. Saturday, December 28, I arrived at the dealership with an appointment with internet salesman Mark Augustyniak. The process was smooth until.... 1. The spare key fob could not be found. Two hours later, after parts tried to create a new spare key fob, I was sent home with the advice to let my hometown dealer, Larry Miller Dodge Tucson, do the new spare. At 5:35, Mark Augustyniak texted me saying he had found the spare key fob, and would send it out to me on Monday, December 30, via Fedex. As of today, the key fob still has not arrived. Perhaps due to the holiday? 2. Arriving home in Tucson, my wife and I went out to dinner, and as we were leaving the restaurant's parking lot, the headlights did not illuminate the road. I let Mark Augustyniak know, via text, of the issue. Mark advised bringing the Scat Pack back on Monday, or taking it to the Larry Miller Tucson shop. I made the appointment with LMTucson with Chad Dugan the service advisor for Monday, December 30. Chad returned to me with the fact that the bulbs were missing from the Scat Pack, and would be billing the Surprise Larry Miller dealership. As I know from experience, taking out those bulbs, and replacing the bulbs, is not an easy task, so why the bulbs were taken out will be a mystery. 3. When I arrived home on the Saturday of the purchase, my son said the yellow splitter guards were still on the front of the car. The ones the dealer is supposed to remove. I looked on Youtube on how to remove the splitter guards, and my son easily removed the guards. However, because those splitter guards had been on the Challenger for a year,(that's according to Mark Augustyniak looking up that information), dirt had accumulated between the splitter guards and the painted splitter contained scratches from both guards. 4. Floor mats. After arriving home, I noticed the floor mats were what I considered, of cheap quality. Having purchased new both a 2012 Challenger RT, and a 2016 Challenger RT, I remember having those OEM floor mats of MOPAR quality. I looked up the part number of the cheap floor mats, and they came from an aftermarket company called Black Gold. The part number RANAC PRD11014LFM-1 is on the bottom of the floor mat. When I texted Mark about sending me the OEM floor mats, he said he had taken the set out of another new SCAT PACK, and would look into the matter. 5. During the online negotiations, I declined the dealer add ons of $847, (as per the office of the Arizona Attorney General) with a dealer discount of $7000, but the reworked paperwork took off the $847 but lowered the dealer discount to $6,153. I noticed this fact upon arriving at your dealership on that Saturday morning. Sales manager KT Thomas convinced me to split the add on cost, but in hindsight, he should not have even tried that sales pitch, and I should have kept with my decline of the add ons. Both Mark Augustyniak, sales, and Chace Gilbert, finance manager, were excellent representatives of your dealership, and I would recommend LMSurprise for that reason. However, I would appreciate you knowing, and following up on making the delivery process so much better. My name is Gary Smoot. My email is azshooff@comcast.net. My phone is 520-490-5704. I've purchased two of my three Challengers from Larry Miller, and had all my Challengers serviced at the Larry Miller Tucson Dodge from 2012-2023. Thank you for your time, and your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. More

It may be that the difference between the 2023 and the 2016 Challengers may be cheaper floor mats, or not? 5. On March 4th I did a test drive on the Ram 1500 with Mark Augustniak. I received an offer to test drive the Ram and in return I would receive a $50 amazon gift card Did not receive my gift card after cont Augustniak. I received an offer to test drive the Ram and in return I would receive a $50 amazon gift card Did not receive my gift card after contacting the dealership 3 times. I got tired of getting ignored by the dealership and gave up, which I'm sure that's what they wanted. Really bad impression of the dealership. More
