Update (on the dealership not the salesman): My 16-year-old daughter used all of her savings around $8,000 to purchase her first car, a Jeep Patriot, from Waxahachie Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Within just a few months and less than 500 miles of her driving it, the transmission started going out. We took it to a transmission shop, and after inspecting it, we were told: “There is no way the dealership didn’t know something was wrong with the transmission or did a very poor job of inspecting.” We contacted the dealership hoping they would help make the situation right. The only option we were offered was to trade the Jeep back in and purchase another vehicle from them. After what had just happened, we were not comfortable putting more money into another vehicle from the same dealership. I do want to be clear that our salesman was kind and did try to help us afterward. My frustration and this 1-star review are directed at the dealership and how the situation was ultimately handled, not at him personally. We absolutely understood that buying an older cash vehicle meant there could be repairs along the way. We did NOT expect a major transmission failure before my daughter had even driven the vehicle 500 miles. Ultimately, we had to send the Jeep to auction, where it sold for $3,500. My 16-year-old daughter lost approximately $4,500 of her savings on a vehicle she barely had the opportunity to drive. I gave the dealership time and the opportunity to help us before leaving this review. Based on our experience and the way the situation was handled afterward, I cannot recommend Waxahachie Dodge Chrysler Jeep and would not purchase another vehicle from them. If you are considering purchasing a used vehicle here, especially an as-is/cash vehicle, I strongly recommend having it independently inspected before completing the purchase. Review on Marcus still stands 5⭐️: Marcus was amazing to work with! We knew exactly what we were looking for for our daughter’s first car, and he made it happen seamlessly. From the moment we saw the car to the moment we brought it home, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, honest, and supportive salesperson to guide us through such a special milestone. Highly recommend! More

After 10 days nothing was done to the car., I was delivered the car with a damage in the rear passenger door, cracked windshield and recall on the car not taken care of off. Embarrassed to have this dealership in our town .,I will stick to Swell going forward. They don’t care about the customer, they only focused on getting the sale.,Don’t waste your time… More
