I purchased a Mazda CX5 about a month ago from salesperson Marco. Marco NEVER called to see how I was enjoying the car, if I had any issues or concerns that I wanted to address after purchasing th salesperson Marco. Marco NEVER called to see how I was enjoying the car, if I had any issues or concerns that I wanted to address after purchasing the car. Never congratulated me for purchasing the car. He showed me the minimal about the features on the car. It was Zacc Shook who took time out to educate and give me insight about the vehicle and he was not the salesman. Thanks again Zacc!!! Not bragging but I paid cash for this car over 24.000.00 to round it off. I had a minor fender bender and Caliber collision alerted me that a sensor was not working on the car due to it being painted over. I under the direction of caliber alerted Mazda South speaking to Marco allowing the Caliber manager to explain the situation. Marco immediately under the direction of Mike he claims to tell me that they would not take responsibility for the sensor because of the possibility it was damaged after purchase. I explain to him or try that the sensor never went off while I was backing up had it did I would have been alerted. He goes into a spill about the possibility of a lawsuit, that they can't tell when the sensor defected. All to distract from being liable or taking responsibility. Mind you the sensor is less than 100.00 dollars. Very minor issue that Could have easily been rectified. however I the customer was not heard, felt blamed and disregarded. This man whom I purchased a car from did not try one bit to advocate for me, the customer, his customer. I became a lil heated informing him that I thought he was the worst salesman I have ever encountered and I still feel that way. Mike was helpful and I appreciate him listening without blame or distraction. I don't know what this young man is going through however he needs to resolve his issues. He also took a call from his MOM in the middle of our sales discussion about the car leaving me for at least 15 minutes. I understand emergencies arise, that was a red flag there hindsight wise. Treat your customers with better regard and respect. We are paying your bills and keeping up your livelihood. Do better, be Better Marco!!!! Customer service at this level I should have never experienced. I was not asking for a hand out or trying to get services FREE on the sly. I at that time needed active listening and not blaming to make sure Mazda was not at fault for a very minor accident. Stop trying to cover yourselves and give customers the service they deserve. If I had to do it all over again I would not even look at Marco Morehead at this point. More
