I purchased my last several cars from another toyota dealership in the area and wont be going back after dealing with Ventura toyota. After spending several hours at the other toyota in town and having my time wasted, I decided to stop by Ventura Toyota to check it out. They close at 9pm on weekdays and I admittedly was cutting it close by coming in at 8pm. Manuel was there to greet me immediately a very friendly and experienced salesman. We told him exactly what we wanted and our color preference. He went and found exactly what we asked for and even had our first color choice. We passed on the test drive as we had driven one before and wanted to move right on to the numbers. Manuel and Simon the manager were very efficient and found a deal that would work for us. After the deal we dealt with Sam in financing also a very nice and experienced person to work with and very efficient. We are very happy with the car we purchased and working with the dealership. All three guys Manuel, Simon and Sam ended up staying to finish the deal until almost 11pm, two hours after closing. That shows the type of workers they have over there, that they are willing to stay after just to finish up a deal and make sure everyone is happy. Thank you for working with us! More

So I told him to go to Ventura Toyota where he already has bought two new cars for our family. We took a look to a bunch of Camrys and zeroed in on one and went inside the building to talk to a car salesman. We happened to bump into Manuel Cosio who attended us immediately and helped us throughout the whole process. He was very courteous and helpful and helped us made our minds on what we needed and wanted. We give him a 10! Then we proceded to go to the financial department where another gentleman Sam Swain who also helped us a lot in making our visit to Ventura Toyota a great experience. We highly recommend them and thank them for helping us today More

A very happy customer We just purchased our new Camry from Ventura Toyota after much shopping and research. We worked with Marion Swain and Manuel Cosio who were both totally awesome! Besides getting a really good deal on the exact car we were looking for, they made the experience painless and a pleasure. Marion pointed out features the new Camry had that helped us get a better rate on our insurance. She also handled all the paperwork and was well organized. Manuel went over all the features the new car had which was many! He was excellent at demonstrating them, not just talking about them. He paired our phones and demonstrated how Bluetooth worked, which we loved. They did not rush us, and we could tell they wanted to make sure we were informed and comfortable, which we were. We had a good experience 20 years ago when we purchased a 4Runner here, and they did not dissapoint this time. More

I received a letter from Steve Mares wanting to purchase my 2010 Tacoma as a trade in for a new Toyota. I was in the area on a Monday about 10:00 and happened by and there were a number of people standing my 2010 Tacoma as a trade in for a new Toyota. I was in the area on a Monday about 10:00 and happened by and there were a number of people standing around in the parking lot as I parked and proceeded to walk into the main sales office. I was approached by one of the young men, I believe his name was Bryan . I told him I wanted to see Steve Mares and he took me in to the building and asked me to wait. He went over to a Steve who was pushing papers around at a desk and Bryan came back and told me Steve was to busy to talk to me (I guess those papers were burning a hole in his desk), he could have stopped for a minute and told me himself was busy and Brian would help me (and I would have been OK with that as I just walked in). Anyway we walked right by him on our way out to the lot and he ignored me which I guess it was to much trouble to say hello. Anyway I went with Brian to look at the Tacoma's and it was apparent Brian did not know what stock they had, I wanted a specific model, he said they had more in the back so we walked back to find out all he could show me were fleet sales trucks which were not available. We went back to the showroom and I was again handed off, this time to Manuel Cosio, I told Manuel what I was looking for and he asked to see my Tacoma, he took the vin number and my contact info said he would run the numbers to identify what he could offer on a trade in and he or Bryan would call me soon. Well the rest of Monday and Tuesday went by and no call so I called Manuel ( their automated phone system is a pain) finally got through to a person was told he would be in the office in an hour or so and I left a message. Well there was no call all Wednesday. I now remember why I bought my 2010 at another dealer,I had gone to the Ventura dealer to start looking last time and the experience left a lot to be desired and nothing has changed. So I went to the dealer where I bought the Tacoma last time and with in an hour or so I had purchased a new Tacoma at the price I wanted. Bryan and Manuel seemed nice and at least at first they seemed like they wanted to help but I guess the attitude of the management rolls down to the people in the trenches. Because of their inability to operate in a business like manner they lost two sales. More
