AND "YOU'RE BEING DIFFICULT" - Paul the salesman lmao BUYER BEWARE OF THEIR 2022 TUNDRA CAPSTONE Came in 9/28/2026 to check out the used Toyota Tundra they had for sale. Met with a salesman named PAUL. Everything went great, I wanted the truck so I told him I'll be back the following day to bring my personal bank check to pay for it. Did a lot of research on the truck, originally a WA title, then MT, then CA. Beach Cities Toyota of Westminster had this very same VIN number truck for sale for ~$46,800. It's been sitting in their lot until Pedder Hyundai bought it and advertising close to $49k. Then they lowered the price, then put it back up. I initially texted PAUL the salesman that if we can start working some numbers out while I was at work, and he basically told me no and to come in, which I did. Came in 9/29/2026 same day I texted him. $3k of dealer add-ons which are supposedly optional but that's not how he presented it. **** He asked me what price I'm shooting for, and I told him $46k before TTL. Long story short, he wrote down $47,800 and I said I'll do $47k and initialed the worksheet. He then came back and said "HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE COME IN AND NOT SHOP WITHIN THEIR BUDGET." I had a $58k check sitting next to me, but JD power, KBB, NADA, and other comparables are around $46-47k for the same truck year, make, and model with similar miles. **** *** The so-called manager LUIS comes out and basically tells me "MOST PEOPLE COME IN, SEE THE PRICE AND JUST SAY OKAY, ILL PAY THAT."*** Moral of the story, if you get this dude as a salesman, he's got an anger problem and will be rude to you, especially if you did your research.
