They make shopping, negotiating and closing on a new Subaru a pleasant experience, when some other dealers make the customer seem like an inconvenience. Some dealers and car companies tout customer service, World Subaru embodies it in every aspect of the car buying experience. More

Someone Removed Memory Card From Dashcam and Denied It! This review is regarding World Subaru’s service department. Sales were fantastic, and I still recommend Glenn Miller (JR) for your next Subaru purchase! I worked with Rudy Degaetano, service advisory, and he was very tentative and polite! Again, no issues here. I came in on a Friday for my first oil change, to listen to a noise and the recall. The problem is with the service technician that worked on my 2020 Outback. The memory card for my dashcam (128G Micro SD card) was removed from its slot. It was there during my test drive with Rudy, prior to service. After the car was complete and I started it up in the parking lot to leave the dealership, my dashcam started beeping at me with a message to insert a memory card. That's when I noticed it missing! I immediately went back into the dealership to talk with Rudy, and he had the tech come over to ask if he took the card out of the camera. The tech (sorry, I don't have his name) replied: "No, I didn't even see a dashcam in your car". He completely denied taking it out. WELL SOMEONE DID! He could have unplugged it from the power socket, put take over the lenses, anything! Nope, it was gone. It does not fall out. It takes a little effort to remove it. I'm not an idiot, but surely felt like one that day. Rudy paid me for the memory card with cash! It's not the money, IT'S THE PRINCIPAL! Now I am forced to go elsewhere for service. Customer beware!! I am very upset about this. Though they are at least an hour from my home, each way, I wanted to support them post-sale. UPDATE: 3/18/20 - Mr. Lou. Zuluaga, the Service Manager called me to discuss this above situation and to try and see if we could get past it. I still feel the same, but at least he took the time to try and work things out with me. He said he would continue to investigate what might have happened. Only time will tell. More
