I was then introduced to the Used Sales Manager, Tom who was also a very nice man, after about an hour, and going back and forth on the final sell price, this is where things went a little south, nevertheless the conversation continued. They were asking between 34, 36k for it, I made a counteroffer of about 5k off the truck, this is where Lou made a comment which it almost made me walk away from this truck, but I wanted it so bad I ignored it, I should've had but didn't, Lou basically said “this is too much truck for you my friend.....” I wasn't sure how to take that, but we continued the negotiations. After a few hours, we struck a deal. I picked up the truck on Tuesday. The truck was dirty, in and out, they had from Saturday to Tuesday but the truck was dirty. I was shocked, Lou's comment: “I have it washed” I said, how about “detailed?” He said: no, that was already done when truck came in to their hands. Anyways I took it home, from the start I've noticed issues: -brakes were noisy -deep scratches all over the truck. -heavy chassis rust I contacted the dealer and spoke to Lou, who was very hard to get a hold of, fortunately I was finally able to talk to him. He stated: “even though the truck was Certified, cosmetics its not part of certification and brakes they ll look into it. I decided to bring it to Chevy Shumacher of Clifton since it was closer to my house, same company different store, there they told the brakes were in very bad shape, the truck being that it was Certified it should've been replaced before selling it, however they couldn’t do the repairs since they didn't sell it. Okay........I then took it back to the selling dealer, Denville Shumaker, once again, Tom the Used Sales Manager, took it care of the whole process, I left the truck, they had it for about 3-4 days and gave me a loaner, at the end, none of the issues were taken care of, Tom told me his mechanics told him that the brakes were still good under their standards. Now mind you this was discovered only after less than 1000 miles of me buying it. I took it to 2 more Chevy dealerships, one being Englewood GMC/Chevy, they too told me that my brakes were in a “precarious” near dangerous condition, they also told me that based on the GMC Services log they ( Denvile Schumacher) also failed to do a Mandatory Service which was not done under Chevy Certified process, it should've had been done. In conclusion my suggestion stay away from this dealership and stay away from Lou Bravo, these people are very dishonest for selling me a truck under the pretense that it was Certified. I elevated this issue to GM Corporate, they are also USELESS. Thanks for reading. Fab. More

But sales person and services are overall excellent and made me think about the premium I have paid for the GMC for years. Top of it, the car, Traverse LT, I think it is much comfortable than the $12,000 more expensive Acadia. I have to say Chevrolet changed as technology improves. Sales Representative, Mr. Bravo was very friendly and guide all the after service process. It's remarkable. It is my 12th car deal in my life and was a pleasant experience. More

I had communicated with a multitude of Chevy dealers across several counties before deciding on purchasing a 2013 Chevy Cruze at Gearhart. It simply "felt right". Andrew and Tracy set the groundwork via email communication and were prompt in responding to my plethora of questions. Lou Bravo, my salesperson, was courteous and helpful, despite the fact I arrived at the dealership after 5pm on a Saturday unaware the dealership closed at 6pm. Our meeting lasted after closing hours. Lou's professionalism, as well as General Manager, John Sautter's, remained friendly and welcoming. I feel they were accommodating and fair on several levels during the purchase process, and am comfortable recommending Gearhart to friends and family for their future vehicle purchase needs. More

Having two little kids and another one on the way, it was Having two little kids and another one on the way, it was time for a new vehicle. I researched new cars for at least a month and decided on Having two little kids and another one on the way, it was time for a new vehicle. I researched new cars for at least a month and decided on a brand new Chevy Tahoe. I visited a few dealerships in my area and didn't like them at all. One salesman acted as if I was bothering him. Then I received a call from Andy Garcia who was very friendly and helpful. I told him what I needed in my Tahoe and he said "No problem". Later that day I packed up the family and visited Gearhart Chevy. We were met at the door by Lou Bravo. He was a pleasure to work with. Within an hour he found us the truck we wanted. Lou really made the car buying experience easy and simple. The following day I had to sign some paperwork with Marc Weber. It took 15 min. I now owned a Chevy Tahoe. Gearhart is by no means close to my house, but thanks to the professional service provided by Lou, Marc, and Andy, they will be the dealership who services my vehicle and gets my future business. This dealership is amazing ! I just bought my brand new Camaro fully loaded with everything that I asked for. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted at first, but after speaking to Andy, I decided on what tha Camaro fully loaded with everything that I asked for. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted at first, but after speaking to Andy, I decided on what that precisely was given my budget and he searched tirelessly to find what I wanted, even though it was far, far away. Any questions I had about virtually anything he answered regardless of the time of day and that really helped me get what I want and a lot faster at that. Lou also was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, while helping me to get my car become more and more of a reality. Lastly, the business manager Marc made the paperwork at the end as painless and short as it could be, efficiently getting everything together, explaining everything to me so that I understand and allowing me to drive home in a brand new Camaro. Thank you, Gearhart Chevrolet. More

Lou Bravo was very helpful and explained everything in appropriate detail. This included the differences in models and options. The same thing was done in the Financing Department - the various options were provided and explained. Very open - no pressure. My wife and I are repeat customers at Gearhart. With our prior vehicle ownership, our experience with the Service Department was very good though the years. I also like the free car wash, as it helps prolong vehicle life. More
