The car is in good condition if I discount the salt damage (rust and oxydation) to the engine bay. I took away 2 stars for 2 reasons: 1) Smelly carpets (not mats) in the front which needed serious shampoo cleaning due to contamination and it was covered up with deodorant. 2) Didn't perform the 40K service but decided to reset the service indicator as it was over 1 year since 30K service. This could have damaged the car/engine for anyone relying on the service reminder. I should have walked away from the car when I saw it in person (which was my first impression). Not that it's a trouble car, but NOT that good value for money. I should have waited for a deal from the southern states with no salt damage. Won't buy another vehicle from the northern states. More

I spent a month looking at dealers all over the country and the one I wanted was at Prestige Volvo in East Hanover, NJ. I took a deep breath, dove in, called Lindsey and she and Prestige got me a loan, my dream car and a chance at financial health. Car Purchase Made Easy! I wanted to purchase a new Volvo XC60 and started with the Consumer Reports Build & Buy Car Buying Service (Uses TRUECar's buying service and app). After getting TRUECar quotes from Prestige and another local Volvo dealer, I was contacted the next morning by Prestige. Lindsey did a fantastic job of being helpful with no pressure. I set up an appointment to do a test drive and decided which engine and options I wanted. Lindsey presented a transparent breakdown of the pricing and the offer was very competitive compared to research that I had done through both TRUECar and Edmunds True Market Value Estimates. Volvo also added a substantial rebate and attractive financing package. There was no haggling necessary and no hard sales tactics. I was extremely pleased with the entire buying experience and strongly recommend Lindsey and the rest of the team at Prestige Volvo. More

Within a day I have received a complete breakdown of the car price with monthly payments, etc. I have bought many cars and I have never seen anything as detailed and straightforward as Lindsey provided to me. After a few more emails regarding my trade in (which they have not seen) we have agreed on the price for my trade in and Volvo price without me stepping into the dealership. We have agreed on the day and time for me to come in, sign papers and pickup my new car. When I came in, all the paperwork was already completed, car was prepped, and car appraisal (confirmation) was done in minutes. Paperwork signing was done in less than 15 minutes out of which 10 minutes was just general chit chat. Most of the time was spent going over all the car features and functionality. As I said before, I have bought many cars in my lifetime but this was by far the easiest and best experience I have had buying a new car. Thank you Lindsey!
