For years I have been l However, in today's world and the hardships that come along with everday REAL life. I want to share my experience with Lidia. For years I have been loyal to one specific car brand. However, times have gotten harder and when I was mostly in need the loyalty was not returned. This left me with no other choice but to shop outside of my normal. I ended up at Tenefly Honda by locating an old business card of a great person who once sold a car to me, who also provided a great experience at that time. Anyway, I googled his name and he had continued with his career at the Honda in Tenefly. I located a phone number for this person and called. Unfortunately, this man was no longer in the sales postion and I became discouraged. I shared what I was going through with the lady who answered the phone and she connected me to Lidia. Lidia has been a breath on fresh air, she remained calm through all my frustration and always assured me that it would work out. I am happy to say that not only did she meet me half way but she exceeded what I was looking for. Lidia is your way to go wherever she decides to continue her work journey. Shes like that buisness card you hold on to for years because you never know when you might need it. Times are really hard and there is no need for added stress. If you are in need of a new car or you need someone to meet you half way because of your finances reach out to Lidia at Tenefly Honda. LACKSADAISICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND UNFORTUNATELY NOT VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, EITHER. When will I learn? Two years ago I was looking for a Honda and I went here, mainly because I LIVE IN TENAFLY !! When I VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, EITHER. When will I learn? Two years ago I was looking for a Honda and I went here, mainly because I LIVE IN TENAFLY !! When I arrived, they were disorganized and couldn't answer any of my questions with any competence. I ended up knowing more about the car just from reading the online information than they did (and that is not saying much). I drove 25 miles away and got the car from another Honda dealership. So this year - why did I even try again? Because - again, I LIVE IN TENAFLY So I thought it would be nice to support the local dealership. Mistake. Started out well with a test drive and easy conversation with the sales person. But when we sat down to talk numbers, they gave me a really hard sell in person ("global car shortage... we won't have more inventory for 6 months or more... buy now or you won't have a car..."), high price for the car - which wasn't even available as I wanted it but I was being told I had to accept what they had to offer due to the shortage, and then further insulted me with an outrageously low offer for my 2016 trade-in. It was several THOUSAND below Kelly, Edmunds, Carvana, and True Car. When I provided documentation to back this up, the manager came over and said he would "see what he could do to maybe MAYBE increase the offer by $500" It was insulting. The strangest part was that after I left that day, it was a full TWO WEEKS before I heard from them again??!!! What kind of business is that? I was shocked. It wouldn't have made a difference because by then, I had purchased my car from another Honda dealer who sold me the car for BELOW MSRP (even in this summer 2021 superconductor shortage), and gave me $3K more for my trade-in. To put icing on the cake, because I purchased my car in a state with mandated-controls on dealer and licensing fees, I saved over $1500 just in fees alone. A huge win all around. HONDA OF TENAFLY, you really need to up your game. You could have made a sale! More
