We bought from them in 2020 and took delivery of a replacement for that Atlas in 2021. That was a good experience. However, we are now in the market for an EV and found dealers closer to me that had t replacement for that Atlas in 2021. That was a good experience. However, we are now in the market for an EV and found dealers closer to me that had the ID.4 which was one we were looking at. The closest dealer to me was selling at MSRP but because King worked a good deal with us before, we decided to give them a chance. They have several but are participating in taking advantage of people and marking up 8k over sticker. It's now in Tesla Model Y price range and more expensive than the Mach E AWD we are looking at. I will not support any dealer that does this and encourage all to do the same. They will need customers in the near future when sales are tight. They have lost a once satisfied customer. More

UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES; FALSE ADVERTISING Buyer beware with these shady people. The use false advertising tactics to appear like they beat all the competition hands down. I drove over an hour Buyer beware with these shady people. The use false advertising tactics to appear like they beat all the competition hands down. I drove over an hour from Northern VA to see a car because of the advertised price online (on Autotrader and the Dealership’s website). When we sat down to discuss numbers, I was informed that I didn’t “qualify” for the advertised price because I didn’t meet their criteria (i.e. to get the price advertised, one had to be military, a recent college grad, and be employed by one of a list of companies they evidently are associated with). Long story short, you probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than meeting ALL of their ridiculous criteria to “qualify” for their ADVERTISED price. Then these clowns have the audacity to charge a “freight fee” when it has already been included in the MSRP on the car window sticker. Completely shady tactics in my opinion. A company should not advertise a price if they cannot truly offer it and it shouldn’t require meeting some ridiculous criteria. Lastly, the Sales Manager was a complete xxxxxxx. He tried to blow smoke up my rear and tell me they have disclaimers on their website that state their bogus additional fees. When I called him on the freight charge, he couldn’t show me where this alleged disclaimer stated the price didn’t factor in the “freight fee” of almost $1000 that they try to charge you twice for. After almost 2 hours of haggling with this idiot, he told me they couldn’t meet the advertised price. So even if you did meet the long list of criteria they have in order to get their advertised price, they wouldn’t be able to honor it anyway. I have half a mind to report these xxxxxxx to the Better Business Bureau for unethical business practices. Save your time and money and GO ELSEWHERE!!!! More

I was very skeptical about King VW because of it's very low ratings, compared to other VW dealerships in the area, but I decided to give them a chance on one Friday night after work. I came in very late on that day very close to the closing time. I was meet by Alan Soon, Alan was very patient with me, very open upfront. At some point Lev Gershevich came in and introduced himself. Lev was able to add extra manager's incentive and it finalized a deal. The team was very determent to make a sale and very aggressive on the incentives. A very special thank you to Business Manager Tim Nguyen who stayed with me way pass 10pm just to do paper work to save me a visit to dealership next day. Bottom line I left King VW around 10:30 PM as very happy customer and I will recommend it to my friends. More

Stay Away! Folks: This is my first review of a car dealership ever. I have purchased 5 new cars and 3 used cars in my 45 years of life so far. However, my exp Folks: This is my first review of a car dealership ever. I have purchased 5 new cars and 3 used cars in my 45 years of life so far. However, my experience with King was so unique that I am compelled to spend my precious time in service of the public. I will give objective facts and let you decide. I leased a Jetta SE Automatic 2017 model from here. I walked in with not a lot of research but just one of the internet price advertised in email. Turns out getting the advertised price is more difficult than getting your teeth pulled alive. To qualify for the advertised price, you have to be born a royalty in ten-ringed Saturn and have three hands and only a half eye :-) (well really speaking you need to be working for a very specific set of employers AND need to have a very specific trade-in which they will make money from AND need to select a very specific lowest of the low-end model AND be a recent college graduate). They will even show you a 'secret' spreadsheet with all kinds of numbers and discounts - only serving to justify the price they want to sell you at. In addition, they would want you to buy accessories and freight $800 always springs in last. I worked with Kambiz and later on Lev and Diako stepped in. To advertise over mass media to broad public a price that a very very minute fraction of public MIGHT qualify - is unethical business practice. I run a business myself so I know that this type of blatantly misleading advertising should earn them LESS business not more - over a period of time. I leased the vehicle including a protection plan which I was allowed to cancel within 60 days. I emailed them my cancellation and followed up by a phone message (Mr Chuck Muller in Finance Dept) within first 30 days. He said you will automatically receive credit in your finance account within a couple of weeks. In reality, it took me close to 25 MORE follow-ups including emails, un-replied phone calls, personal visits to dealerships and threats to get my money back after a good 5-6 months. He justified it by saying that he forgot to send the cancellation paperwork to VW credit and only remembered that after 3 months of my time-consuming follow-ups. A friend of mine got the exact same car for less money and less hassle from a straightforward dealer in Northern Virginia. My advice is before you get hooked into any advertised price, please do research over phone/email and get the net number before you walk in - this will save you a lot of time and grief. That is if you do end up going to this dealership. To prove this is a genuine review, I am willing to show my invoice from the transaction. Good luck in your car hunt! More
