I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my experience at Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney 04-18-2026 at approximately 2:30 PM. I visited your dealership to purchase a car and was initially provide experience at Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney 04-18-2026 at approximately 2:30 PM. I visited your dealership to purchase a car and was initially provided with a printed price list. When I questioned a discrepancy between the quoted price and the figures on that list, sales representative James Brown responded in a dismissive and disrespectful manner — mocking me and my friends for not having in-depth knowledge of car features. He tore up the printed price sheet and challenged us with condescending remarks such as, “If you don’t know what they do in your car, why do you want them?” This was humiliating and completely unacceptable. Rather than intervening, his colleague Angelo Perez joined in by exhibiting provocative behavior — standing up aggressively, behaving impatiently , and deliberately making us wait for extended periods without response. I want to acknowledge that Leo stepped in at a later stage and handled the situation professionally, ultimately helping us complete the deal and pay the deposit. However, after reflecting on today’s experience, I am seriously reconsidering my purchase. Being mocked, humiliated, and discriminated against — particularly during what was my very first car-buying experience — is not something I am willing to overlook. I am prepared to forfeit my deposit and take my business elsewhere if this matter is not addressed seriously. Adding to this, James Brown made a particularly insulting comment suggesting that we had “nothing better to do” than visit multiple dealerships to compare prices. I find this deeply disrespectful — shopping around for the best price is every customer’s right, especially when it involves hard-earned money. Rather than respecting that, he chose to mock us for being diligent. A sales professional’s role is simple: present the final honest price and let the customer decide. Instead, we were subjected to unnecessary personal comments, deliberate confusion around dealer-installed accessories, and what I can only describe as a deceptive attempt to obscure the true cost of the vehicle. This is not just poor customer service — it borders on unethical sales practices. More
