They like to prey upon people that are living in hardships so they are able to prop themselves up a little higher. I am a disabled veteran, single parent, and disabled. I have terrible credit due to a divorce after the death of my son. 2016 Chevy Traverse was KBB at trade max value $15,589, Private seller $17,738.00 The dealership listing $18,799.00. Selling price from dealerships $2509.00 requiring an additional $780 for Gap insurance to cover their overpriced vehicle. Total $25789.00 tax title and license. I have to pay $4000 cash upfront. The top price of a Chevy Traverse in 2016 was $32,735 a $6950 dollar difference 7 years later. I am paying for a used vehicle what I could have paid new 7 years ago.
