If you can avoid this dealership at all, please do. When I bought my F150 from them, I used Ford’s “A” plan for employees. Planet did not know how to enter the “A” plan pin into the transaction and the When I bought my F150 from them, I used Ford’s “A” plan for employees. Planet did not know how to enter the “A” plan pin into the transaction and they accused me of fraud. I called the “A” plan 800 number and Ford advised that there was nothing wrong with the pin number. In that conversation they asked me why the dealership didn’t contact them directly if they had a problem. My response was, “Good question.” I went to Planet to straighten out the situation and told them that they were entering the pin incorrectly. The situation was remedied, but , after wasting several hour trying to rectify a mistake that they made, I never got an apology. Part of my stupidity was I gave them another chance. I tried to put my name on the waiting list for a new Maverick. I completed all the information on the Ford web page. Then, Planet contacted me. They wanted a deposit. When I completed the application there was no mention of a deposit. I asked when delivery would be. I was told by Planet that they really didn’t know. My reply was, “Why should I give you a deposit when you can’t tell me when I’ll get delivery. They never put me on the waiting list. Please avoid dealing with these people. More

Excellent experience purchasing a car from home Avoiding the coronavirus during this crazy time, is it possible to purchase a car without ever going to the dealership? Prices on the internet are good. Applying for financing on the internet works great and the interest rate was good. Doing a trade-in is possible but it’s hard to get a good value. I understand Planet Ford’s position and having to make a decision based on pictures of a used car is challenging. But the bottom line net cost worked out great after a little back and forth with Lauren Forgie, the Internet Director. My salesman was Alex Campos who provided excellent service which allowed me to complete the purchase by email and sign the paperwork when he made the delivery. Chris Peterpaul in Finance called the day before to go over the documents which were exactly what I expected. Alex delivered the new car to my home, I signed the papers in the garage, and Alex drove away with my trade-in. The entire process took less than a week. I’m glad I was able to purchase a car that I was already familiar with and didn’t need to do a test drive. It’s too bad I have been restricted from using it for so long except for trips to the grocery store and restaurant take-out pickup.
