The truck was under warranty and I had to have my truck towed 200 miles back to their shop. I asked for a loaner vehicle, "Definitely not" was their response. I have no idea why such a response instead of a simple "sorry we can't". I asked for help with partial rental reimbursement, same response. I asked for partial towing reimbursement, same response. I was told 3-4 weeks to get my truck back. After the 3 week mark passed I started calling them. I was told they haven't looked at it yet because their only tech who does this work is gone for training and to call back a week later, which I did. I was once again told the tech was in training. I said "again?" they said yes and to call back a week later, which I did. Guess where the tech was? You got it, training! I told them that excuse was getting lame. Oddly enough that was the last time I heard that excuse. Excuses from there on out were all different but the end result was the same. I called the guy I bought the truck from hoping he would help me, his response "want to buy a new truck?" - duh! That was dumb of me to think he would help! I arrive unannounced at the dealer to find my dusty, dirty truck sitting there unlocked. Guess locking it wasn't important either. After days of researching and making calls and sending emails to anyone I hoped might help I was told by an employee there that the only way to make this shop do anything was to report them to GM, so I did that. A few days later I get a call from their shop, they are working on the truck... I could tell the guy was not pleased with me but he said maybe a week or so before its done. Great! Wait, not so fast! TWO weeks later its done, for a total of TWO MONTHS! That's a long time for a new business to be shut down! I arrive to get the truck and the service advisor saw me coming and left the room. I asked the other guy who was there where to get my keys and he just points to a counter. I go to the counter and they ask my name, immediately another woman turns in her chair and I get a nasty look. The other lady hands my the keys and the paperwork, says nothing, closes the glass window. I have no clue about what was done, if there is a break-in period, nothing. I walked out to go looking for my truck in the parking lot. I found it and it was unlocked again. This time my dash cam is gone, wire ripped out of the dash, and I find a candy bar wrapper in my console. I start the truck only to find there is as close to no gas in it as you can imagine. I wasn't even sure I would make it the 1/4 mile to the gas station! I pump almost 25 gallons of gas in my 24 gallon tank and head out finally! I worked with GM for a few weeks afterwards and found out all they had to do was submit towing and rental receipts to GM and they would have covered it! Good news is that GM did what this company should have done but failed. I spent $6,000 in rental fees and towing, GM reimbursed a couple thousand dollars of that. Good luck to anyone who buys a vehicle here! As far as my business goes... I am now in the market for company owned vehicles for my employees to drive. Guess where I WON'T be buying these vehicles??
