⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Hard-Earned Five Stars for Service and Integrity Writing this review has taken time, because my experience with San Tan Hyundai’s service department was long, complicated, and — at firs Integrity Writing this review has taken time, because my experience with San Tan Hyundai’s service department was long, complicated, and — at first — extremely frustrating. But in the end, they earned my respect and gratitude by standing behind their work, going the extra mile, and ultimately making things right. Over the course of a year and a half, my vehicle went through two engine replacements, three transmission replacements, and various other fixes. The road to finally getting my car fully functional was anything but smooth. Initially, my concerns about the engine were not properly diagnosed, and I was left feeling frustrated, financially drained, and uncertain about whether my car would ever be safe and reliable again. So, I went elsewhere for a second opinion, and within one day, another shop correctly diagnosed the bad engine and submitted it to my warranty company. The catch? The warranty company required the new engine be installed by a Hyundai dealership. That meant going back — reluctantly — to San Tan Hyundai. And that’s when things began to turn around. I requested a meeting with the service director, Larry, and came in with my documentation and concerns. He listened, validated my frustration, and moved fast to get the new engine approved and installed. That level of accountability and care made all the difference. It was the first real turning point in this entire ordeal, and it was the moment I felt like someone in a position of leadership in corporate America was putting their customers before profit. But it didn’t end there. When the replacement engine started overheating and throwing codes, San Tan Hyundai stood by the work and replaced the engine again. And when the 1st transmission they had installed less than a year earlier began slipping and failing, they diagnosed the issue for free, provided a loaner vehicle, and once again replaced it with a 2nd transmission at no cost to me. A week later the 2nd transmission failed. This time, a very impactful part of this experience was meeting the same mechanic who had worked on my car throughout the year. He not only put in additional time trying to get it right, but he also rode with me, confirmed the issues, and explained the quirks of this particular model. His honesty, dedication, and professionalism were a huge reason my car is finally running the way it should. After a long road — over 60 days in service, thousands of dollars in repairs, and countless return visits — I can finally say the car is working as it should, and that San Tan Hyundai stood by their work when it mattered most. If you're dealing with something complicated, I strongly recommend working directly with their service director and asking questions — because this team proved to me that they truly care. More

Received excellent service from Mario Macias. Service involved coverage by 10 year factory warranty which Mario took care of. Also involved coverage from the warranty I purchased on my new vehic Service involved coverage by 10 year factory warranty which Mario took care of. Also involved coverage from the warranty I purchased on my new vehicle in 2014. Thanks to Mario the warranties covered a new air conditioner compressor and new motor mounts. The next time I need service I will definitely call San Tan Hyundai and Mario. More

23 Santa Fe Calligraphy, headlight issue w/fading as driving. Tech could not replicate but did check connections, computer etc. This is understandable since its not a consistent issue, have been told ab driving. Comp service inspection was done, all explained well, ready as expected w/note to return if issue arises on next trip as well a 8K service due. Larry Appleby was service advisor, kept me informed, pleasant to work with, will return to him again. Overall very pleased with service from first walk in the door to time left. On a side note, the service manager's office is in a position to watch the service advisors which I haven't seen that set up in other dealers. Service manager is active in making sure customers are being taken care of, interacts with his team and with customer as necessary. 5 stars to STH with this experience and will return soon for the next service due. More

This service call started on 7/28/23 with an appointment in Gilbert. A problem was identified with the paint on the door handles of my car. In September I started making phone calls (8) to check the statu in Gilbert. A problem was identified with the paint on the door handles of my car. In September I started making phone calls (8) to check the status of the requested warranty work. My car had been in your service department two previous times with the same issue. I was told the parts were in and that our advisor would call us to schedule the work. The advisor never called back, and we continued to wait for the call. On the 8th phone call, I was told to make a new appointment. I showed up on November 30, 2023, expecting to have the new door handles installed. When I showed up for the appointment, the new door handles had not been painted and I was sent home with a loaner car. My car was picked up Friday December 1, 2023, which was 4 months from our first appointment. I talked to the Manager of the Service Department but, he was not really interested in what I had to say. He did say, "we have so many cars coming in each day." Overall, I feel your service department deserves a poor rating. More
