Your apologize is disingenuous at best in my opinion which is based on my experience. The latest - I also had the car in for service during the warranty period because my check engine light was on because of the ESIM switch. It came on initially during our test drive and it was reset which didn’t fix the problem. You told me it would cost $600 to replace - that’s for a $50 part and 15 minutes of labor which is how long it took me to replace it. Never again will I trust or get fooled into stepping on Ourisman property.

I will say, Ourisman did give me a three-year Tag after my multiple posts they were still difficult to deal with, but they did follow up and give me the additional time on my tag.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your frustration and want to clarify the situation regarding the vehicle you were interested in. The vehicle in question was recently traded in and had not yet undergone our standard inspection process to ensure it meets our quality and safety standards. As such, the initial price agreed upon was based on its current condition, and we indicated that adjustments might be necessary to bring it up to our standards for a safe and reliable vehicle. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication or error in our listing process which led to confusion about the price. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this. Our intention is always to provide transparent and fair pricing, and we regret that this was not effectively communicated in your case. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Please let us know if there's anything further we can do to address your concerns or if you have any questions about the vehicle. We are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all our customers and hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust.

FALSEHOODS galore! Ourisman CDJR of Bowie, Please provide the RO showing what reconditioning was done on my vehicle (2016 T4R TRD PRO) to justify a $6500 price increase. When a vehicle is traded in by another they sign a POA. Then you book it, pull VIN, mileage, etc and it shows in your inventory in your Dealer Management Software (DMS) - You've ACV'd it (actual cash value) at that point YOU KNOW what it's worth. The DMS then sends it out and the ACV is now there, BUT if a price hasn't been entered, it would state "call dealer for price,” or “new inventory, coming soon." something to that effect (because the "price" box in your DMS would be EMPTY/BLANK - meaning there wouldn't have been any price shown online) - none of this was the case- the used car manager had already sent it back for reconditioning and that had been DONE and accounted for ( I know this because my sales advisor informed me of exactly that !) So nothing additional that you claim above is actually accurate, in fact it's a flat falsehood stating it hadn't “undergone standard inspection or brought up to safe and reliable condition.” LITERALLY LIES for the other customers you hope to fleece - the "Initial price" you refer to, went through my sales advisor and two sales managers - so I'm pretty sure there wasn't "miscommunication" with three people signing off on it and the finance department verifying and accepting my deposit. I literally asked if I could finish payment in full on my credit card. The day I bought the 2016 T4R Pro, my sales advisor and I had EIGHT phone calls and multiple texts ensuring and wrapping up the deal. I asked for a bill of sale showing it was mine and he sent me a document which i accepted in good faith was the contract to sell it to me since it had the price, taxes & fees, my deposit and a balance due. He told me how my new T4R was spectacular and truly gorgeous (I had asked about dealer reconditioning/detailing, fluids and mechanics and was told on your "recorded line" that it had undergone your multi-point inspection that all used vehicles receive per company policy upon intake and had passed with flying colors. He gushed over how immaculate condition the 4runner was when he actually got inside it, and stated he would double check that the fluids (differential and tranny) I had specifically inquired about had in fact, been changed during your reconditioning/multi point inspection process which was complete. Therefore, reconditioning cost had been accounted for and the vehicle put out live for sale, with a specific price WHICH I AGREED to and paid consideration- I paid money (something you wanted) in exchange the vehicle (something I wanted) - by law, that’s a contract. We had a mutual understanding of what was taking place - a sale of the vehicle to me. We discussed picking me up at the airport, nearby beaches I could visit. You collected my personal information, DL, proof of insurance, etc. Ultimately, you received a lot of inquires about this T4R and realize you could make more money and instead of standing by your promise to sell it to me, you're choosing who you serve- the almighty dollar. Your word is your currency. It’s what comes out when you are squeezed that matters. You have a deal with a customer - me - and the opportunity to regain my trust would be NOT to renege but to treat me fairly and complete the deal at the price you agreed to. Integrity, Ethics, probity, rectitude, - it's how you earn and keep customers- don't just type the words in a public forum that you hope others will respond favorably to, but live them. It's what you do when no-one is looking that matters. Be an honorable dealership, because thus far - that's not the case. I’m doing all I can, so I will just stand.
